Nobody's perfect. Hate to think what my radio show would sound like if I had one. My current favorites:

1. Limbaugh monologues
2. Tony Snow
3. Savage (before 3rd shot of vodka)
4. Hannity (when Ann Coulter weighs in)
5. Ingraham (except bumper music)
6. Dennis Praeger (consistently smarter than me....I know it is easy to be smarter than me but I still like him).
7. Mark Levin although I have never heard his show.
8. Huge Hewitt (after 3rd shot of vodka)
9. Glen Beck (proves LDS folks can be smart and funny)
10. Tammy Bruce ...well maybe not.

So these FIVE are YOUR favorites? I would like to see a review of those you DISLIKE.

From you post I suspect you would probably have a positive opinion of Al Franken.

CLUB GITMO is the funniest thing Rush has ever done. His Ted kennedy parodys are really funny too.

Judge: "What exactly were you thinking when you drove over the bridge that morning?"

Kennedy: "Ohh, what the hell"

Judge:
"Senator, will you continue to drink scotch for breakfast"

Kennedy:

"Well you can bet your ass I won't be eating Cherrios"

Say the word "Conservative" and who is the first image that comes into your mind? It has to be Rush. If "Conservative" had a picture in the dictionary, it would be a picture of Rush Limbaugh.

It's hard to be humble when your making millions of dollars.

I've pretty much tuned out on some shows.

Hanity and Combes was good for a while but I could care less about hearing what the other side has to say.

Fair and balanced is not about some inane smug elitists telling you that America is bad and going to church makes you a genuine bigot.

I know how I want things to be and I damn sure don't want some over educated immoral fool trying to change my mind.

Am I a conservative, you bet your liberal diapers I am.

I'm all the things radical liberals like to look down their noses at and proud of it.

I am Christian who loves America and if thats not being politically correct, then so be it.

Tony Snow is one of the nicest, most decent humans in show business.

Just my opinion.

Tony is on vacation until Sept 6. He has guest hosts until then. John Gibson was guest host today.

In my opinion the best hosts are as follows; Rush Limbaugh, Michael Medved, Hugh Hewitt, Denver's Mike Rosen and Laura Ingraham [...] The worse host, by far, is Michael Savage.

Yesterday Laura Ingraham in a shrill and sanctimonious way was presenting Serbs as guilty of genocide on Bosnia/Kosovo Muslims. I see her as good as Ms Albright.

And Michael Savage was the only host whom I heard to be brave/clever enough to see the Serbian (the true one) side of the story and condemn the pogroms on Serbs in Kosovo.

PP, just to let you know, McGruff has a daily talk show thread going. Stop by, if you wish to complain/comment about anything you hear. It has over 3,500 posts on it.

Talk radio ping for everyone.

I agree wit hthe writers' assertions on Savage...I don't like to be screamed at in my life, much less by some nut on the radio.

So did you post this just for the sake of cracking on Rush and a couple of other talk show hosts or was there a point to it?

What a dumb statement.

Gee, that's an argument. Perhaps you misunderstood me. I do not mean that he should be censored or banned, merely that he does not have the skills (or has not developed them) requisite to being a good talk show host.

The market is the judge of that, not you.

Perhaps this is painfully obvious, but I am a part of the market, therefore my opinion that he is not qualified to do a three-hour show is quite valid. In short, I am a consumer. That's who I am to say whether or not he is qualified.

Are you sure you're 'qualified' to post here? Seesh. I don't know. Maybe you can tell me /sarcasm

Just as a wild, wild guess, you've been Hannitized, right?

By the time Sean comes on, FR has already covered everything he could talk about. This site is his show prep............

Same comment would apply to Rush.

And exactly which of the enumerated powers delegated to the federal government by the United States Constitution gives the federal government the power to contract with taxpayers to "to provide monies for retirees?"

You big dummy, learn to read!

It's right next to right to privacy, which houses the God-given right to abortion.

I can't quote it, but it's in there. Somewhere. Somehow.

What a dumb statement.

Gee, that's an argument.

It's called an introduction, an attention catcher. It seems to have served its purpose.

The market is the judge of that, not you.

Perhaps this is painfully obvious, but I am a part of the market, therefore my opinion that he is not qualified to do a three-hour show is quite valid. In short, I am a consumer. That's who I am to say whether or not he is qualified.

The market is a single entity. You are a part of it like a passenger on a ship. You can choose to be on the ship, or not, but your input as to the course it takes is for all practical purposes, completely irrelevant.  Your assertions that you are qualified is  unsupportable, the market has overridden you.

Just as a wild, wild guess, you've been Hannitized, right?

Hannitized? Baiting doesn't work well with me. What else you got?
