Here we go again. I got so tired, last year, of bringing all of the yard stuff inside! And, already the fraidy cat dog is hiding under the bed!

Some days I think I work with idiots and other days I have it confirmed for me.

Sounds like where I used to work. Even my wife referred to me as Dr. N. Theknow. Said I must be a proctologist because I work with a bunch of assholes.

Doesn't bode well for my arrival into Orlando at 8PM Saturday.

Where are you in Central Florida?

We are going down to look at houses.

Needing rain is one thing...............

Terrible thing to say to you folks that need rain - but to be perfectly honest, it'the very LAST thing on earth we need right now....at least this particular "type" of rain.

My poor husband is going crazy...he was not finished cutting grass from the last batch of rain we had - and then it rained again all day Tuesday...

Update at work....memo out that we are now closing at 3pm. Use your own discretion for tomorrow. If you come to work tomorrow, you may dress in casual attire.

In Texas a minimal hurricane or a tropical storm is a good thing. The people along the coast line must deal with the wind and tides and that can be bad, but then the arid parts of Texas and northern Mexico get watered. The tanks are filled, the aquifers are filled and the streams run clear. Life is renewed, it is natures way.

OBTW, Bastardi has missed plenty of his predictions...the last cane that hit Mexico was suppose to hit NC...per Bastardi. LOL... ;o)

What you are saying does make sense. Living near the coast, I guess I tend to forget that sometimes these things can be good in some ways to some people........OTOH - some people no where near a coast got hurt pretty bad from some of those 'canes last year.

But as you say - it is nature's way and about all we can do about it is be prepared, and pray.
