Odds are she was aiming center mass, both times. A .45 auto has a pretty powerful kick to it. I expended huge amounts of ammo in mine before I was able to accurately place my rounds where I wanted them to go. I practice frequently just to maintain that ability. I can tell when I haven't practiced in a while too, because the first few rounds are usually not too close to the point on target I was aiming for.
