Where have I heard that before? Oh yes... on just about every one of the other posts about Sean Penn's articles and references to his trip to Iran going back to June.Cite an example.
If you honestly want to know what I think, Sean Penn is irrelevant, pure and simple. He's just a tool for the left to show everyone that "Oh, we [the left] do care!". 50 million people could be slaughtered in this world under a Democratic president, and Sean Penn would be sitting on his thumbs.
Here are a couple of example (to keep you going)
Every country he visits we attack........so far he is one for one. (post #8 by CROSSHIGHWAYMAN)
and
"Wait - he was in Iraq, and then we attacked Iraq. Now he's in Iran...figure out, people - he's a scout!" Post #14 by Tennessee_Bob
Want more? I can give you more.... if you need further convincing (I don't)
Sean Penn is as relevant as I am, as you are. I went to Iran.. and experienced things just like he did (well... I didn't quote get to interview a Mullah)... but I experienced a lot of what he did... and more (I was there three weeks to his one).
Just because he is a wealthy successful actor does not mean his views are any less poignant than yours or mine. At least he took the trouble to go there... and yes... despite what you may think... he did so even knowing there was a potential risk to him being there.
