CIA, Military Men Agree with Pat Robertson

While televangelist Pat Robertson has apologized for suggesting that Venezuelan strongman Hugo Chavez be assassinated, a former military man and an ex-CIA operative have stepped forward to say that his concerns about Chavez aren't exactly unwarranted.

"Chavez is a dangerous guy," retired Col. David Hunt told Bill Bennett's "Morning in America" fill-in host Steve Malzberg on Wednesday. "We helped to elect the son of a gun [and] after 9/11 you don't get to threaten us." The issue of assassination "should be on the table," Hunt said. "I'm suggesting that we use it as a tool . . . to get those guys nervous."

Former CIA operative Wayne Simmons agreed, telling Fox News Channel's "Hannity & Colmes," that Chavez has "threatened not only the United States and the west, but [has]armed himself with the revolutionary armed forces of Colombia, which is the oldest, most well-trained terrorist organization in Latin America."

"He should have been killed a long time ago," Simmons said.

Well, Chrissy Mattthews on Hairball can't get enough of the story...he has it as his main story...

Just had on that looney progressive pastor, Wallis...saying that Robertson should "step down"...step down from what?

He owns the TV show the 700 Club...

AND, if he has military and CIA guys saying this...even better reason not to "step down"

The only bad thing is that you don't telegraph your plans to the target....

As a Christian leader, he should be more careful with what he says on his show.

God is setting up the wicked for their final fall. We just need to be patient. The wicked will soon be gone forever, and the earth cleansed of all the effects of satan and sin.

Proverbs 10:30 The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth.

Matthew 13
36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

I like his sentiments, but he's still a moron.Wrap a towel on his head, change his locale,make him smell bad and he could pass for an imam.

Note to Pat:Say what you mean and mean what you say and don't apologize for saying it or STFU altogether.

And his ratings are in the dumpster. The Amy Goodman person is dumb as a rock and not as attractive.

Anyone who offends a liberal has to step down anyway. That's the PC rules.

LOL---

You notice that every single show today, on the radio and on Fox, there has been a hugh story about Code Pink protesting in front of Walter Reed...

Odd....Chrissy isn't having anything about that tonight, I don't think...

That's funny - "step down, step down from what?" Great observation, really shows you just how deranged liberals are.

Chrissy is not a series person. He's got 15 minutes left and he's going to ask whether the President is making the case for the war. My guess is that the answer will be no. What say you? Heheheheh

LOL, Tx. His first question, to Paul "Loser" Hackett no less, is why does everyone hate us? Hackett thinks he knows.

That Paul Hackett guy that lost the election in Ohio is on with Chrissy now...

He just said that we will lose the war in Iraq because we are trying to FORCE the Iraqs to adopt the American culture...and they don't like it and that is why we are losing...

That Bush is "misusing" the military....

I have to give Chrissy credit though...after Hackett made the idiotic remark that we are forcing American Culture over there...Chrissy asked him...."Are they wearing jeans at gun point? Are they watching American movies and listening to American music at gun point? If we are "forcing" them...they sure seem to be going along with it!"

That was whan Hackett said that is didn't matter if they liked it...they aren't like us and we shouldn't be there.

I wish Chrissy, Kerry, Biden and all would explain just one time..

WHY do they care so much what other countries think of us?

jeez louis...most countries try to emulate us, their citizens try to live here....so who cares what their idiot prime ministers, dictators, tyrants, and others think?

I bet he is even losing sleep over whether Hugo Chavez is really, really mad at us...

Did you hear Hackett say that if we are planning on getting rid of religious terrorists, we should start with Pat Robertson?

Then, he said that we "freed 50 million people, and helped them write a constitution, so we should claim VICTORY and come home now..."

Correct me if I am wrong, but hasn't Bush gotten the MOST grief for the "supposed" Mission Accomplished speech he gave after we took Baghdad?

Why would they accept him claiming victory at this point?
