Bush isn't the first president to take a lot of time off. His father, President George H.W. Bush, spent 153 days in Maine and 390 at Camp David; Dwight Eisenhower spent 222 days for 29 golf outings in Augusta, Ga., during his eight years in office; Harry Truman spent 175 days in Key West, Fla., over seven years; and Ronald Reagan famously loved his vacations, spending all or part of 335 days during his eight-year presidency at his Santa Barbara, Calif., ranch Two points:
1) Apparently,Clinton never took a vacation.
2) I'd rather my president do odd jobs on his ranch than get blow jobs in his office.

Excellent points.
I wish someone would send ABC and the other MSM jerks the President's schedule for the last month. Travels, meetings w advisor's (as I recall, there were security advisory and an economic advisory meetings early in the month) and foreign leaders in Crawford, etc. - how many days has he actually had a FULL DAY of vacation (even if you include the daily security briefings)????

1) Apparently,Clinton never took a vacation.
The first point is that Clinton so loved the trappings of being King at the White House that he chose to vacation there in government housing.
The other point is that Clinton didn't have a home to go home to that I recall. No ranch or other retreat that he bought and built with his own earnings.
But to the MSM, if you are on private property, you aren't working.
