YELLOW ROSE OF TEXAS' SOLUTION TO 11 MILLION ILLEGAL ALIENS
yellow rose of texas and TEXOKIE

Posted on 08/27/2005 1:45:03 PM PDT by TEXOKIE

For those who may not know her, we have a long-time FREEPER who has at last returned to us after a long and arduous recovery from some difficult health problems. When she was previously active, many of us valued her wit and ideas. Her handle is YELLOW ROSE OF TEXAS.

WELCOME BACK, ROSE!!!

Rosie has come up with an idea on how to handle the illegal alien problem and has asked that I post her idea for her. I can take no credit at all for it; it is purely her idea!

YELLOW ROSE'S IDEA

Instead of closing the military bases, why dont we use them as detention centers for the illegal aliens?

The idea would:

1)keep the local economies going, if not increase jobs

2)get illegals off the street until they can be either tried and sentenced for crimes or deported instead of relying on the illegals to report themselves for deportation

3) discourage more illegals from coming over the border

Use them as a Ellis island, you don't meet the entry qualifications, you get deported to iran iraq or syria.

Thank you for posting this. I think this could be a starting point to getting only legal immigration and work visas the norm once again.

Terrific idea.

I've advocated using the abandoned bases for low risk prisoners for years.

But of course you're speaking about government, common sense is nonexistent. They want to spend more money and complain they don't have enough facilities..

Busing ILLEGAL aliens into barbed-wire military bases? The MSM would scream NAZI and no cheap labor PAC junkie politician would have the balls to do it.

Good idea, but I prefer they simply be photographed, finger-printed, DNA sample taken, and immediately be bussed back over the border while the Great Wall of Texas is being built:

You are welcome, Rosie! So good to see you back in the saddle again! We missed you like a front tooth, but we have understood that you HAD to make your recovery a first priority!

Instead of closing the military bases, why dont we use them as detention centers for the illegal aliens?

Why should we pay for the care and feeding of these people? They should simply be force-marched back across the border.

The ploy of some of the Hondurans, and Guatemalans to claim asylum upon being apprehended (thereby claiming the right to stay) can simply be de-facto declared as null and void because they entered the US from a country (Mexico) where they were not at risk.

This is a terrible idea. Its worse then allowing them to be at-large, because it transfers the total burden of maintaining them to the tax payer.

Send them Back.

We have the power of the vote to force an end to the free flow of illegals. The INS says the problem is lack of space to house all the illegals they catch.

Yes, this is common sense, but somewhere in DC there has to be SOMEONE who can think inside the box.

Isn't this my idea? (If things work out, I'll want my normal 80%...)

The ultimate solution is to send them back but in the meantime we need a place to house them.

As it is now they are released with a promise to appear in court on such and such a date.
Of course most never appear, just blend into society and are never found, or even pursued.

According to published Government reports, only 2% to 5% show up for their deportation hearings.

On the coasts, convert those huge sheep haulers to holding pens. Smell and animal crap would make guests feel at home.

Welcome back Yellow Rose. Can't keep you down can they.

Great idea. We can also send in the "coyotes" that are moving them. Put them all together and let the fun begin.

It'd be nice if the fed/state govt. would use our tax $s to build a wall like that - very nice.

The cry of "CONCENTRATION CAMP!" would go up immediately.

I am sure there is a little additional room within these sanctuaries for those who complain of the restriction on the rights of the illegal border crossers. They should walk in the shoes of those whom they claim to be acting on behalf of, it gives them a different perspective if actually living NEXT to those who are supposedly being persecuted.

These defenders of the rights of the illegally arrived should be leaving on the same mode of transportation as the repatriated, to the same location. Once they arrive in the destination country, they would learn first-hand how much BETTER the illegals in this country are treated, than they themselves will be treated in the country of repatriation.
