Wizard of Oz slippers stolen from Judy Garland Museum

The plastic circles are sequins, done in a layered pattern. I know...I studied photos of them to re-create Ruby Slippers for my daughter's Halloween costume when seh was a little girl...I also sewed a darling blue gingham jumper style dress as well.

The following Halloween I made her a Glinda (the good witch) costume...and if I must say, I out did myself...layers of pink netting, silver stones and sequins (air conditioning baffling fashioned into her tiara)...my daughter and I are big Wizard of Oz fans.

The ringtone on my cell phone is 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow.'
