This is more than interesting! Good grief. What has ANY President done about illegal immigrants?
The Wall had nothing to do with DOD or military intelligence doing surveillance of citizens. The later comes under the Posse Comitatus Law. That's what the DOD lawyers were concerned about - erroneously.
The "Wall" was within the DOJ, period. The intelligence side of DOJ was not allowed to talk to the criminal justice side of DOJ. When the "Wall" memo was written, Gorelick had absolutely no control over what DOD did or did not do.
If Weldon's information ends up being proven true, this could end up being the biggest government scandal/coverup in the history of this country.
Just wondering if there aren't destroyed documents in regards to the Oklahoma City Bombing and connections to Saddam Hussein and Iraq ( again Janet Reno as possible suspect)?
I agree, however, if it's on Bush's watch, the MSM will destroy him-whether he ordered it or not! All we'll hear is its "Bush's fault". And Clinton will get off scot free.
And this is our mantra:
This is bigger than Watergate. And nobody died in Watergate.
Makes you wonder what else from the Clinton Administration was stuffed into burn bags.
Oh man. But no surprise.
Ditto that. Big time.
You have paid NO attention to the good that Specter has been doing this session of Congress, it is apparent.
You need to read this if you haven't already:
MILITARY 'SPIED' ON RICE (More Able Danger leaks from Specter staffers)
The private contractors working for the counter-terrorism unit Able Danger lost their jobs in May 2000. The firings following a series of analyses that Pentagon lawyers feared were dangerously close to violating laws banning the military from spying on Americans, sources said.
The Pentagon canceled its contract with the private firm shortly after the analysts who were working on identifying al Qaeda operatives produced a particularly controversial chart on proliferation of sensitive technology to China, the sources said.
Sources said the private contractors, using sophisticated computer software that sifts through massive amounts of raw data to establish patterns, came up with a chart of Chinese strategic and business connections in the U.S.
C) All of the above.
That's my take on it. It's all going to point to Sandy Burglar's pants.
Why did we not get the truth about TWA800? Why the cover-up about Oklahoma City? How about our "peace keeping" mission in Somalia? There is a pattern you know. I think the question is why did Clinton want to create the false image that we were at peace with the world and the only terrorists we needed to be concerned about were domestic. Clinton's war was within his own country.
You sound like someone who has read Jayna Davis's most excellent book "The Third Terrorist". That book opened a lot of eyes. And it's Clinton's former CIA Director James Woolsey who endorses her research, her book and says the world will owe her a debt of gratitude when the truth is known.
Can't you just hear Bill?
"Yeah, well, we gotta get Jamie on that commission. No matter what we do. She's got to be the one. Oh, and that sleazeball Benvenista. He's nearly as slimy a lawyer as I am a person...heh heh heh.."
Except the original WTC bombing, OKC, TWA800, the embasssy bombings, the Cole, and an overwhelming need to run screaming from anything that remotely resembled a terrorist attack. The denial, coverups and misapplied responses surrounding these events led directly to 911.
Limbaugh interviewed Weldon about a week ago for the newsletter. I will be interested to see if he trusted Rush enough to give him some advance notice of things he will be revealing soon.
