Have you gotten any word from your folks yet?
Not a single word from anyone. Cried myself to sleep last night worrying, but am trying to keep busy until I start to hear from fly. and friends. Hopefully I'll have a houseful of them in the very near future...

Did your folks evacuate?
I know this sounds odd, but I have been on the inside of a disaster (a tornado and flood but nothing like this one!) and I was so busy dealing with salvaging stuff and cleaning up and getting tarps on the roof and dealing with insurance adjusters and all that, that I FORGOT to call my family to let them know I was O.K.! I felt really stupid and sheepish afterwards, but it never crossed my mind that they didn't know I was all right . . . I mean, I knew I was o.k.!
Prayers that your folks are o.k., just busy and forgetful!
