So US not doing the 'right thing' on climate policy means the US gets hurricanes? Is Gaia sending it as punishment? Why not snow in Zimbabwe?
'Bush's fault' knee jerk.

The frequency of natural catastrophes like Hurricane "Katrina" can only be explaned by man-made caused global warming, Only the Atlantic basin is having increased frequency. The others are about the same.

Storms Vary With Cycles, Experts Say
By KENNETH CHANG
Because hurricanes form over warm ocean water, it is easy to assume that the recent rise in their number and ferocity is because of global warming.
But that is not the case, scientists say. Instead, the severity of hurricane seasons changes with cycles of temperatures of several decades in the Atlantic Ocean. The recent onslaught "is very much natural," said William M. Gray, a professor of atmospheric science at Colorado State University who issues forecasts for the hurricane season.

Federal environmental minister Jurgen Trittin ...I apologize to all our domestic moonbats for suggesting that the U.S. has any type of unique infestation.
In Germany, it appears, moonbats can become ministers!
Granted, not as bad as Venezuela, but scary nevertheless...

Jurgen needs to go back to science class, Hurricanes have actually been less numerous in recent years.
Notice how China and India aren't responsible in any way.

Did this genius also come to the conclusion that last year's tsunami was the result of so many people living on the coast that it tilted the earth and made all that sea water pour over them?
I thought the German's had a reputation for attention to detail? Obviously, warped ideology can ruin even otherwise sound minds.

As if there was never a category five hurricane in the GUlf before. They are rare events but have gone on back to the time of the Mayans -- and probably before.
Sheesh!
