Unbelievable!
In that Kangaroo court, "community service" is probably defined as euthanizing unwanted animals at the pound....
There is no way in hell that I would set foot (or spend dollars) in Pinellas County.
In light of the order for him to write an apology for doing the right thing, I have to wonder what assignment he got for community service. One of our local judges has been known to order kids to help out at one of the churches. I'm sure that wasn't the case here.
"In court Joshua pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 25 hours of community service and ordered to write an apology for his actions.
Unbelievable!"
I don't have time to read the whole thread so forgive me if this has been hashed out, but I see nothing unbelievable. He participated in civil disobedience for what he believed was right and now he has to pay a penalty. That's how life works. If he had gotten off with no penalty, that would be sending the wrong mesasge, IMO.
