I just listened to her on cspan.org, fielding questions about the Black Caucus and their vicious, despicable attacks on the President and his administration. Rice responded that they were understandably emotional, nothing more.
If they had walked up to her and spit in her face, would she have stood there and acknowledged that their behavior was understandable, worthy of empathy, or somewhat valid? Because that's the message she was giving. It was sickening to listen to her.

Drudge reported that Rice spent Wednesday night blowing thousands of dollars in new shoes in NYC and taking in a performance of Spamalot. Given what was going on in New Orleans at that time, it didn't look good.

Al Quida could easily make NO a beach head. Imagine all the fun they could have setting up "welcom home" presents.

Right now they have everything they lossed in Afghanistan. No effective government and primitive/starving locals a strong minority of which are willing accomplices.

We REALLY need to clean that place out, ie, take it with military force and let the dead hostiles wash up on the beaches of Mexico and Cuba.

Just a few points: If countries want to send money, that should barely even require our permission. Just post the address of where to send it.

If they want to send specialists and other people to help, we need to be wary of whom we let in and don't let in from certain countries.

And if they want to attach any conditions whatsoever to the aid they send, we need to be absolutely firm and categorically reject any such thing.
