Good afternoon, all. Nice post, Dolly. I can't take a picture where I work. No cameras allowed. On the 27th of this month I will celebrate 34 years with the same company. Come to think of it, I get 6 weeks vacation a year. Have been for the last 14 years. Ya think the dems will tell me I have no right to this???

News still trickling in from family members. All OK, one with no house left but they still consider themselves lucky. God Bless President Bush and all working to help in the aftermath of Katrina.

Hi FRiends! Happy Labor Day weekend. My family escaped Katrina's wrath. Some rain, but no major flooding or downed trees like we had with the previous hurricanes. Hmmmm, Labor Day...I remember well, getting my 'working papers' when I was in High School. (I think that is what they were called..'working papers') Well anyway, I was ready to make a few bucks and buy some new clothes. McDonald's just opened up in my town, applied and was interviewed. Well...I didn't get the job, how pathetic is that LOL!!!

My favorite position in my career was when I was a Staff Developmental Specialist, I taught new employees CPR, First Aid, Infection Control. It was rewarding and fun. I now work in the Information Technology field....grrrrr, boring :-)
