If we only assume trips on Saturday and Sunday and just 10 trips a day to someplace outside the city that gets 179200 people out. With a baseline of 224 buses with 40 people per trip. But it's Bush's fault so just forget all this.

Someone really needs to check my math, but running 224 vehicles, carrying approx. 60 people, 100 miles outside the city at 50 mph (round trip 200 miles, round trip time 4 hours) would take about 29-30 hours to move 100,000 people.
this does assume running the vehicles 24 hours/day, does not include load/unload time nor the time required to refuel the vehicles
