On CNN just now. New Orleans Mayor Nagin, apparantly stressed out, in interview segment, said he has been yelling at the President and the Governor, and for all he knows, the "CIA could wipe me out". (Paraphrase) Just now.
Turning into a strange, macabre show now. Blame continues, spiraling out of control. Sad. It even raised CNN's eyebrows a bit.(5:57 p.m. Eastern/4:57 p.m. Central)

The Democrats, the Congressional Black Caucus and their liberal MSM scum supporters, will try their best to do in GW Bush, but at the end of the day. the POTUS will still be standing. Just remember, folks, it was not a "Blue" state that led the way to accepting folks from New Orleans. It was Republican Rick Perry and the people of GW Bush's home state of Texas. I ask you where is Ted Kennedy, Massachusetts, Dick Durbin, Illinois, Barbara Boxer, California, Pat Leahy, Vermont? Nowhere to be heard or found!!! The "Blue" states only care about Blacks for one reason, their votes. End of story. Maybe someday Black folk will wake up and get real!!!

"Consider the possibilities: New Orleans is well-known to be more-or-less controlled by "certain business elements" who prefer a "low profile". Anyone who makes it to the Mayor's office is, shall we say, mighty beholden to those folks, and they in turn "take good care of him". Now, his incredible incompetence has just cost those nice folks a hell of a lot of money, and unlike our government, those folks demand and enforce "accountability". I believe his fear is justified, but it's not the CIA nor disgruntled constituents he fears."
Good point, he has made a lot of enemies this week, and surely not just among the poor. How many mob people have lost fortunes in this fiasco (and they probably don't have banks and insurance companies to bail them out, unless they own them).

"In all of the coverage I have seen, I haven't spotted a single Metro/municipal bus of any kind. Didn't they have any mass transit system?"
Someone posted on another thread that there were at least 350 or so municipal buses, in addition to at least 200+ school buses, sitting uselessly in NOLA parking lots.
To: Chgogal
apparently he can only drive one bus at a time. If the drivers don't get there then no one can do it.

BTW, has anyone heard from Edwards? Surely he needs to be heard from to give courage to his fellow democrat politicians... Whichever Carolina he's from, I'm surely glad IT didn't get hit. If you catch my drift.
I've enjoyed not hearing from him.

Even if the CIA did want to get him, they'd probably have to take a number. I'll bet Nagin's not the flavor of the month with NO's citizenry.

The man looked like he has had it. I can understand the fatigue.
Fatigue? Hell, he's been hanging out in Baton Rouge, and undoubtedly in fine style unlike his former constituents.
I have probably missed it, but the closest I've seen him back to Nawlins was when he accompanied the Prez on the helichopter tour yesterday.

Well, he ran away from the people to Baton Rouge You are KIDDING me.
I saw the Interdicter's blog photos of the main gov't (city hall?) building in downtown NO and saw all the plain cars commandeered to protect the building (armed cops in and around them) Tues or Weds and I assumed Nagin was in there! At least during the day!! When the heck did the captain leave the ship???

My read is that he received much good advice before the storm hit, but felt that NO could get by as it has done before. He was wrong, and now feels the guilt for all the dead which has produced his very public meltdown.

You know Whorealdo just informed the American public that the Berlin Air lift occurred during the Kennedy administration! Sure...maybe if there was a time warp. To whoever said Geraldo was deliberately lying to give us a Dimocrat hero, no way. Geraldo is as dumb as the day is long and twice as arrogant.
