They only want criticism of Bush that comes from the left, not from the right.

An asset held through dogma for political power that the Democrats have used to their advantage for 4 decades.

Republicans/conservatives who don't see the forest for the trees cannot envision the slow but effective changes that conservatism has achieved since Dubya has taken office.

Patience and fortitude are a conservatives best friend in these times.

To lose focus on this matter and just focus on individual issues can only create the destruction of conservatism in the long run via a shattering unity.

To quote from FR's mission statement:

"We're working to roll back decades of governmental largesse, to root out political fraud and corruption, and to champion causes which further conservatism in America."

There isn't much from Bush's presidency that has advanced us down that road. There are things that have taken us in the wrong direction. Now is the time for many things, but complacency with the people in charge is definitely not one of them.

Make no mistake about it: Criticism from the right keeps Bush from sliding left. The Kyl-Corrin bill (which still doesn't even go far enough) would not have been proposed at all had it not been for the relentless pressure being put on the GOP leadership by conservatives demanding that something be done about the illegal immigration mess.

HUH? What planet are you living on? "Dubya" has adopted almost every liberal position possible since he took office. He's no conservative.
