You are so right! I should have attributed the words "race baiting poverty pimp" to the person I first heard use it -- J.C. Watts who called Jesse Jackson that several years ago when Jackson was going off about how the blacks were not smart enough to vote and were disenfranchised.

I'm so glad these great leaders have pitched in to do so much for the tragic survivors of this storm.
We live in the DFW Metroplex. Early this am, my oldest daughter and I met at the supercenter and filled huge shopping carts with food, clothing, bedding, toiletries to help our fellow Americans. In the baby aisle, a young mother helped us find big cans of powdered formula; in cosmetics two Black women helped us choose combs, brushes shampoos and soaps the women would want. Then they gave us $20 to purchase more items from them.
We then drove to the dropoff point and waited in a long line of cars with others who had the same idea we did. My youngest daughter has been at the center in Dallas for two days, working nonstop as the buses come in with the evacuees.
Cowboy stadium has been designated a dropoff point for items for the shelters. The news said the backup was immense. People are opening their homes to families, calling, giving. In short, TX has mobilized all over the state to try to help these suffering folk.
It is shameful and hurtful to hear JJ, Al Sharpton and the Black Caucus together with the media speel this venom. What else can I say?
I give them NO break---their people are in trouble because of the likes of them--INCOMPETENT, LYING, WEASELS, who live off of their poor and ignorant fellow blacks for years---why didn't this bunch pool their money (like the kid and folks he saved with the bus he took to Houston)hire a plane/helicopter and bring food and water to the fellow bros?---bull---t

Meanwhile there are at last count about 1500 people stranded on the Chalmette pier mostly white and dying because New Orleans is sucking away all the resources right now. Chalmette is just East of New Orleans in St. Bernard Parish where the Battle of New Orleans was fought in 1814.

Let's not forget they were warned since Friday afternoon to evacuate. If they chose not to at least they could have updated their emergency supplies.
I've said it before and I will say it again, anybody who was responsible for a child and chose to stay in New Orleans should be criminally prosecuted. Of course it won't happen.
I am tired of hearing that people have been in refugee centers for a week. People went to centers when? Tuesday night? Wednesday? The people who have been displaced for a week are the mayor's family who flew out in a helicopter LAST FRIDAY!
