Morning CO,
Typical liberal defelction of the real deal as to the lawless domestic terrorists roving around in NOLA.

The media wants the truth supressed and the lies hyped, in an attempt to feature Presient Bush in a bad light.
We all know from the governor, mayor and other incompetent minions in this debacle screwed up. They are not woman or man enough to admit they failed their constituents.

The domestic terrorists need to be shot on sight to curb this lawless third world conduct.

In NOLA they had 300+ buses to transport 20,000 of those stay at home non-evacuees. The mayor was high and many died while he was giving Blanco the high-five.

Osama Bin Laden was very happy to see these POS looting, raping and murdering innocent people.

Osama says, "Allah is great," NOLA has many good candidates to join our Jihad against the infidels. Home grown terrorists, it cannot get any better for Osama.

I would like to know what happened to the 250 million dollars set aside to upgrade the levees, dams and water pumps for NOLA.??????????????????????

Mayor Nagin, Gov Blanco& Punchy Landrieu you all have some "Splainin To Do."

Oh yes, by the when the impeached one was in office during 1998, he vetoed the bill which would have provided funding for upgrading of NOLA levees, dams and water pump for CT-5 hurricanes.

These fools need to put the blame on the real foot (Theirs)where it really belongs.

(Democrats would not know the truth if it Pimp slapped them)
Cordially,

Sad to say, I agree with you about sending money to New Orleans. It would be like sending money to the Third World
-- you don't know what will be done with it. I also agree about taking people from New Orleans into one's home. I would caution anyone considering this to be very careful.

"We have to get them to shelter. We have to get them educated.

Some people never learn, apparently a lot of them moved to NO. I suggest just handing them a body bag for each family member, and move on. Give them a week or two and the problem will sort itself out.

When they gave the order to evacuate, they should've had buses waiting for people who didn't have vehicles.

It obvious that neither the governor, the mayor or other city officials knew what to do...except save their own sorry backsides.

I have to disagree on your projection of the number of dead. While true that the flood was not a flash flood, it did trap huge numbers of people in their attics and on the roofs. Most who were trapped in their attics would not have been rescued, although some certainly were.

Many on the rooftops will have died there also, of heat exhaustion and of thirst.

I think the final numbers will be shockingly high.

Louisiana politics as long as I have followed them (well the whole USA politics actually) being about 20 plus years now, but Louisiana politics has always STUNK!! Graft and corruption appear to RULE.

Hey CP,
I believe mayor and governor should be charged with reckless endangerment to the public for releasing those prisoners into the populace.

They all must have an I.Q of O to do such a stupid thing. We will shoot any of them who come to our area trying to commit crimes.

Far better to be judged by twelve. than to be carried by six.

Support your local Militia, you can count on them,

Those must be the guns that were lost when your canoe tipped over while out fishing.(smile)

Criminals are our enemies and deserve no mercy. The liberals love them for their votes.

Piss off a liberal go buy another gun,

Hello Gracious Lady,
I sum it up in one syllogism, "When the law breaks the law, there is no law."

In La, there is no leadrship by the liberals from the top to the bottom. Democrats of course are hysterical as usual with no anwswers only blame.

I saved a opossum's life tonight, I swerved and hit a democrat instead. The opossum had far more integrity and usefullnes in life.

NOLA needs to remain the new Nautilis City. Why waste tax dollars to rebuild a cess pool of crime and corruption and unthankful people.

Let loose the dogs of war on NOLA for an enema,

Sort of a sidebar to the article:

It seems to me that the number of sick and elderly who've died since the hurricane because they couldn't get medical attention is actually a testament to how good their medical care was before.

IOW, Grandma should've died years ago, but her excellent health care (even our worst helath care is outstanding in comparison to the 3rd world) kept her alive for another ten years. Once "on her own" again, without medicine, etc., Grandma died. I feel bad for the families, but they should be thanking God for every additional day that they had with their loved ones.

RE your sidebar:

MSM keeps stating that "8 to 10 a day are dying". Well, in my metro area of 250,000 there are always 8 to 10 fresh obituaries a day--in other words, this is NORMAL, this is life, and it's not Bush's fault!

So assuming that both media reports were correct, the looting of the gun department at Walmart could be considered the procurement of essential supplies by an otherwise law-abiding populace beset by gangs armed with assault rifles?

Possible, but not too likely I would think. All I was saying was that the AK's didn't come from the WalMart looting, and that the guns stolen from WalMart, and I'll bet in most cases they didn't get the ones from the safes, only the display guns, about 12-15 per store, didn't contribute all that much, incrementally, to the arms held by the gang bangers.

And again assuming that the media was right about the AK/SKS rifles, are these commonly used in urban drug wars? Or does it appear that there's some different element at work here in the streets of New Orleans?

While not all that common, AKs are used by drug dealers and other gang types. Some years ago representatives of the Chinese "companies" that make them were caught trying to smuggle them in to gangs, the full auto version at that. How many were smuggled in when the smugglers were not caught? Lots I would think.

Unfortunately I have to agree with your post #70. The entire state is not like NO I am sure. But having to have hundreds of National Guardsmen just to keep the peace in a City where man should be helping man is just a waste. The Leadership of the City is clearly BAD and how dare they BLAME the President for what they should have done at least 4 or 5 days BEFORE the storm? Start removing the citizens who didn't have the means to make a move themselves. Empty the old folks homes. etc. No, instead, they just sat there doing God only knows what? The Superdome has been completely and thoroughly trashed. I heard one story where a thug grabbed a Guardsmens gun, shot the Guardsman, then raped and strangled an 8 year old girl!! MY God, I can't fathom such behaviour. Doctor's and nurses being held up at gun point for the narcotics in the hospital. Where's the Governor and Mayor - G O N E!!!

That's true to a point. The population is far lower at this point than 250k, so 8-10 a day is a bit high.

My point was that a lot of folks are living on borrowed time to begin with.

I'm hoping for less, not more. But, how would Mayor "Run-Away Ray" know? I notice his butt was safe and dry while he was having his meltdown on the radio.
No matter how many people died, he bears some responsibility. He was the FIRST link in the authority chain and he is utterly incompetent.
As for the shooters, they probably had rap sheets going back to pre-school. Good riddance. Let's hope the cops and National Guard continue to have good aim if fired upon.

Yes, that is always a great idea kill people who made the wrong choices in very stressful times. Should we also kill the NO cops who were breaking into ATM machines and safes? Why did five hundred cops disappear and desert the city in its hour of need? Maybe they were getting away with the loot.
How about we kill all the people who left the city and did not think to take one poor person with them?
How about we kill the ones who passed by the uncovered bodies on the streets as they "got their stories"?
How about we kill all the people who from the comfort of their million dollar homes judge people who did not even own a vehicle to get out of the city?
How about we kill all the people who make dumb ass statements like you?

Less than 1% of the GNP goes to welfare and public assistance. If no one will hire you, no one left you millions in their will and no will trust you to work for them, how do you feed your children? As humiliating as welfare is, it is the only choice for many. By the way, welfare does not even pay the rent these days.

Did you know most of the people on welfare are young white women, most of whom were sexually assaulted by the same class of white men who decided there was no rush to save the people in the New Orleans. Why don't you do some research and get back to me when you have the facts about welfare instead of assuming all blacks are on welfare. I am not on welfare and I am Black.

People who looted items that could not be used for immediate survival should be jailed, but not killed. By the way not all of these people were on public assistance. The cops who broke into ATMs were not on welfare. I wonder why a pictures of white people looting were said to be "taking needed supplies", but black people looting were "stealing". Maybe the same reason that black always has a negative meaning no matter how it is used and white always means something positive. America is caught in its bigotry and the whole world can see it.

There has been no confirmation of any rapes taking place in the superdome. No one has come forward to accuse anyone. I have heard no stories of people who were arrested for murder. What happen to innocent until proven guilty anyway?

Its interesting how many say they are "Christian" and "Americans". Those people in NO are Americans also. Yes, they are poor, yes they are Black, and yes they are Americans. The fact that so many survived shows God favor. Who are you to judge people born into incredible poverty and trapped inside that city of death? Why don't you see if you can find jobs for some of them and be a part of the solution? No, you would rather condemn a whole society of people who struggle to make ends meet. I say again most of the people on welfare are white.

Some of those people in the domes were working people. Many are looking for work right now. They do not deserve to be classified with those who are law breakers. When there is no law, no water, no food, no housing, no one who seems to care, and no way to get out of the city, how does anyone act? How would you deal with that situation? How long would you wait before you had to take what you needed? Try fasting for five days without food or water or electricity. Turn off your computer and try it. How long would you last?

Even now in the comfort of your home, as you look down at those less fortunate then yourself, you are preying on the poor and the weak. Should we kill you for that?

I resent your comments. You are prejudice. Probably prejudice against anyone who does not think and act just like you. How boring!

Morning,

Your pathetic excuse making, for criminals who loot, rape and murder is pathetic. Good people regardless of race, do not indulge in this type of activity.

Your uncanny logic, truly reveals your liberal mindset of personal responsiblity.

My area was hit by Ivan, however we did not loot, rape and murder innocent people. It is very apparent you
condone lawless conduct as a means to justify the your delusional psychotic inequalities in life.(Made by choice)

Where did you obtain your statistics about NOLA's welfare dependence? They are about as accurate as bill klintoon, being the first black president.

No one really cares to hear you making silly mega dumb ass hypothesis for excusing criminal behavior and or anyone who chooses to make welfare a professional career.

"Disabled people and non-able-bodied need this pecuniary economic viabilty."

Your logic emulates the type individual, who would furlough a convict. One who is a known rapist. In doing so, they could go out and rape another innocent woman again.

Pllllllleeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaasssssssssseeeeeeeee, do not try to play your emergency race card and class warfare card in your diatribe. Sane people will not bite into your party line or warped thinking.

As to killing people, deadly force can be used when a person or person(S) who have the ability, the opportunity and they place your life or another(s) in jeopardy. Providing the above mentioned criteria is met, then deadly force should used.

As to criminals, they come in all races, colors, creeds and denominations. Whether you agree or not, the law, civil order, and crime prevention must be upheld regardles of any situation.

I will break it down for you simply illustrated.
"When the machine breaks down, we break down." We cannot allow this to happen in civilized society.

As to the looting police officers and the cowards who threw away their badges. "When the law breaks the law, then we have no law."

The officers who stayed and did their best, deserve a promotion for their heroism. They did their best to protect and serve.

If it were in my power the criminals/quitters/cowardly police officer(s) should be prosecuted and neve allowed to work in any law enforcement job. This would also include never being placed in a position of trust for any type employment.

As to all blacks being on welfare?(Who said all blacks were on welfare? How did you derive at your conclusion? I know plenty of blacks GS-15(s) lawyers, and doctors, who are not on welfare just like me.

We all had a series of things in common, first "the majority of us grew up impoverished." Secondly, "we were determined, for even though one starts at the bottom, does not mean one has to remain there". Thirdly, "we refused to hide behind our race, as a tool for failure in life." Last of all "we refused to be victims, and as a result of our hard work became productive citizens in America."

As to the non-evacuees, when one chooses not to evacuee and the illustrious mayor does not show sound leadership bad things happen in hurricanes.

I will remind you there were 300+ school buses which could have evaced all those people in the public housing and other areas. The mayor was concerned about his family and no one else. The governor a total twit is so P.C. and liberal, refused to call out the guard in a pro-active move.

The governor also refused to call a state of emergency(martial law) which could have prevented much of the anarchy taking place NOLA.

Another aspect La. especially NOLA has been under the control of the Democratic Plantation for 60 plus years. Offering entitlements is a way they keep control of these states and cities.

Klintoon vetoed a bill which would have provide funding to upgrade the levees, dams and water pumps. Some black president, really looking out for the people of NOLA and La.

While you are contemplating, where are the 250 million dollars that was set aside to upgrade these levees, dams andater pumps(federal money)? Maybe it went for casinos, perks and buying votes to keep incompetent idiots in office.

The bottom line to this cluster, is the local government lied, did nothing and many people died. The mayor, the governor and the house and senate La representative(s) dropped the ball in this debacle.

Anarchy resulted frome the lacksadaisical attitude of the the NOLA/La leadrship. Lawless conduct should never be tolerated in any society regardless of" who "is doing same.

The is a drastic difference between you and I. "I tell it like it is, and you opt to make excuses." Excuses never solve anything in life and only weakens one(s) character/ambition.

You will be notified, when I can afford to live in one of those one millon dollar homes.

I was once on Mr. Charlies's(DNC) plantation and a prominent member of the NAACP. After removing those red colored glasses, I saw the big lie being perpetuated.

**** In other words, "I Woke Up!!!!!**** Why Don't You????????????

As to you saying I am prejudice, well do you drive the same car or eat at the same restaurants or listen to the same music or associate with the same people as I???

I think not, for that is our different choices in life.

Prejudice is a choice or a discriminator. It is applied during the selection process of a myriad of various and sundry things in life.

I really enjoyed responding to your collusion of liberal hypo-excuses for iequality, cause&effects and statistician analysis.

I graduated at the Top of my class in the US Army Equal Opportunity Advisors Course and have dealt with many people of different races in my two careers in Law Enforcement.

I know what you stand for in life, excuse making, condoning anarchist actions and "ZERO" responsiblity for one(S)own actions.

Consider yourself duly freeped on the beep, don't you think it was indiscrete????????? Whateeevvvveeeerrrrrrrr!
Cordially Your's
