Jeff Spicoli: What for?

No mention in the article about his own rescue boat almost sinking because the idiot didn't check the plug.
To: zackzilla

What a waste of resources. Rather than save the living-- the top priority-- he is focusing all his time on people beyond help. What a jackoff.

Oscar-winning Hollywood actor Sean Penn, who has been assisting rescue efforts in New Orleans, said the US government did not "seem to be inclined to help". "We were pulling drowning people out of the water, it's the ultimate distress and human suffering ... dead bodies," he told GMTV. Penn said he had spent nine hours on Monday searching the water for people and during all that time he saw just three boats carrying US officials.C'mon Sean, we all saw the picture of you and your "entourage" rescuing nobody but yourselves out of a leaky boat with a broken motor...

I heard Penn needed to be rescued from his sinking dingy. That's what I heard as well. Apparently, as soon as his boat was put in the water it started to sink, so he and his private photographer and to bail with cups...and when the motor wouldn't start they had to paddle around for a little while. That's probably why he hasn't released pictures...wouldn't do to show his own ineptness.

"At one point, there were a load of girls on the roof of the hotel saying 'Can you help us?' and the policemen said 'Show us what you've got' and made signs for them to lift their T-shirts. When the girls refused, they said 'Fine' and motored off down the road in their boat." Bolony!!

This clown is yet another publicity seeking bottom feeder. If he wanted to do some real good he'd go about it anonomously and without a "private photographer." There are thousands of people who are making real contributions to the releif of these storm victims wnd we'll likely never know who they are except by the tracks they leave as they go quietly about their business. Without benefit of "private photographer" I might add.

After hearing him on Greta last night, I was stunned that this guy was even employed...especially as an actor. He was incoherent and unintelligible in the few short minutes he talked. What a difference a script makes.
