Troops find grisly scenes in New Orleans
NEW ORLEANS, Sept. 6 (UPI) -- Troops scouring New Orleans for survivors and victims reported finding at least 40 mutilated bodies in the Convention Center refugee center.
Arkansas National Guardsman Mikel Brooks told the New Orleans Times Picayune many of the dead were elderly, or showed signs of trauma.
"There's another one in the freezer, a 7-year-old with her throat cut," he said.
As the searches became more organized since the Aug. 29 onslaught of Hurricane Katrina, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers said repair crews had patched the ruptured levee along the 17th Street Canal and had begun pumping out water.
The failure of the levee system after the storm left about 80 percent of the city flooded up to 20 feet deep, and Corps officials said it would take nearly three months to drain some neighborhoods, CNN reported.
Deputy Police Chief Warren Riley told reporters that thousands of people -- many of them with pets -- are insisting on staying in what he called "a hazard."
"We advise people that this city has been destroyed. It has been completely destroyed," Riley said.
The mutilated bodies were found in the convention center, different place from the Superdome. The difference being that the convention center wasn't even officially in use as a place of refuge. A rumor got started that the convention center was manned and stocked. Thousands showed up to a closed center and broke in. It didn't even have unarmed guards to witness, much less stop any violence that broke out.

If this was from AP or any other pop-Left mainline media it might be a semi-legit story but this is just garbage from the mostly defunct has-been UPI.

That is because the Viet Namese that were relocated to the Gulf Coast (all along it) are universally hated in the region. They were trying to stay alive by being invisible.

No wonder none of the evacuees want to go onboard the cruise ships. That's another disaster waiting to happen.
What about the people that will have to work there, and those that support the workers...where will they live?
Mutilated means just that, mutilated. It doesn't denote cause of death, or whether mutilation took place before death. It just means the bodies have been mutilated in some way. Most likely it's from rats or other animals. I hope to God it was rodents, because I don't want to think of the person or persons responsible for multiple mutilations running around the country now.

Will they be prosecuted? I doubt it JJ will claim that this is normal and we are to blame. Filthy disgusting and coming to a town near you.

You're wasting your time. Freepers can be painfully gullible about MSM stories, as long as those stories seem to confirm what they want to believe. A lot of people are mainly here looking for an excuse to sit in judgement on other people. I've seen it over and over.
Six months from now, when there's been time to digest all the data, it will more than likely come out that there WERE rapes, murders, and robberies, but not as many as the more lurid stories would suggest. But by that time there will be something else, somewhere else, for people to be smugly outraged over.
Think about it for a minute. Why would anyone slit a 7 yr old's throat? I know this sounds grousome, but I wonder if it wasn't just a convenient time to dispose of unwanted children? A post natal abortion, shall we say...
In all honesty, we know who bears the blame here. What is also true is that those two fools will never be held to account because one is black and the other is a woman.
