Ok I think we all need to e-mail the chief of police of NO. The cop who took Snowball is KNOWN. His picture taken from a video is all over the Net. WHAT DID HE DO WITH SNOWBALL AFTER HE TOOK HIM AFTER FROM THE LITTLE BOY!!!!
I'm going to sound awful saying this, but judging by the guys body language....he doesn't look like someone who would worry about what happened to that dog.
This story just gets worse and worse.
Snowball, the little dog who was taken away from a traumatized little boy getting on a bus being evacuated from NOLA is still missing. What's the condition called before one resorts to cannibalism?
(Mick from the high mountains of New Mexico - where are you?)
I too, am hoping and praying that Snowball is ok, and that if he is, soon they will find his family....it has to be cruel to inflict an extra trauma on any family, by not allowing their pets to come with them...I know, there are those who have no compassion for the animals, and somehow think that allowing the pets to come with their human families, will endanger the evacuation....I consider that idea to be nonsense...bringing along little Snowball would have endangered no one, and would have given some small comfort to that little boy, who loved him...
that people both put the pets in, and later removed them, without spending too much time worrying about whose pet was whose.Who pays attention when hunger is so close ...
Or worry about ripping him out of a little boy's arms......this so stinks
Go away......your feeble attempts at "humor" are not appreciated right now
Not. They thought they had found and id'd Snowball but did not.
"The cop who took Snowball is KNOWN. His picture taken from a video is all over the Net. WHAT DID HE DO WITH SNOWBALL AFTER HE TOOK HIM AFTER FROM THE LITTLE BOY!!!!"
You're on the right track, I think this high profile missing pet story can be solved.
You don't UNDERSTAND! Thousands of dead Americans, and these people yelling at you are morally superior to you because they care about this one dog! Where is your heart, Sir? Have you no sense of decency? No perspective on what is IMPORTANT, and what is not?
I suggest you hang yourself with this one little dog's collar, after you go rescue him/her personally.
Sorry for the bummer news and incorrect earlier news... it's the fog of Katrina.
Well, our interest in this thread beats yours.
Maybe we should get Greta on the job. She was out with people rescuing dogs today.
And before I get flamed, sure it's sad that the kid and his dog are separated. That's the first reel of a Disney movie.
There just might be more important problems facing THE KID right now than where his pet is. If you get my drift.
Damn.

Kitty Ping List alert!
[Freepmail me to get on or off the Kitty Ping List.]
Wonder if this is one of those "stressed" cops who's poolside at the Mirage, courtesy of Ray Nagin, while the NYPD covers his butt?
Ya know any problem this little boy now faces would have been made easier with his buddy by his side
