He doesn't have control of any of those problems, but he used to have a dog. And taking the dog away didn't fix the problems. So where are we now?
I realize this is just one of thousands of sad stories with Katrina, but we can't know the names of all the victims, only a few. And those few we can follow become important to us. It's always been that way.
"Never say anything bad about little yappy dogs, they have a huge following here at FR."
oh, man..
LOL
You are absolutely on to something! I just missed everything but the tail end of a segment she did about rescuing a puppy from a roof tonight...She said she wanted to adopt the pup but the officer who actually did the recovery took the puppy home...the point being that Greta has a heart.
Can't we get her to try, with all of her connections and coverage, to give this made-for-T.V. story some air time?!
That would get everybody looking and maybe the officer in the pics would come forward? maybe?
I may be full of it, but you've got people on this thread worried about "this high-profile missing pet case".... I mean C'mon! I'm not happy about a dumb-ass cop taking a kid's dog either, but it ain't BIG NEWS TO BE UPSET ABOUT when there are thousands of dead people floating around.
I think there's some confusion here. Snowball wasn't at the Superdome, I believe he was with the people who were being picked up off that I10 causeway area. You can sort of tell from the photo of the officer with the dog.
There was a group of animals there on the causeway that were in cages, even a big bird cage was there. I saw the cages on tv, as there was a view of one of the buses being loaded. They had some sort of covering over the cages, I guess to keep the sun off them, not sure.
Those animals were reportedly picked up by a rescue group.
I just hope the cop made sure Snowball got in one of those cages, even if it had to be a shared cage.
I am not going to disagree with anything you say, because I have read The Lord of the Rings 19 times, and we just have a lot in common. ;)
Well, now you're bein' smart :~D
It might not be big news to you, but it certainly is to the little boy who was so upset at losing his dog, that he started throwing up.
Where's the compassion for that child?
It is one thread. Out of hundreds. Don't worry so much about it.
Are you talking about the guy who used to call into Rush's show all the time? A few years ago, the man's son called Rush to let him know that his father had died. He had Rush choking back tears as he told hom how much his Dad had loved to listen to Rush, and call in to his show.
I always loved it when he called in. Sometimes he sounded a little the worse for wear, but he was alone, so it could be expected. I was in tears when the son hung up from the call. Rush didn't say much, but went straight to a break.
Good idea!
thanks, I will e-mail info to site link
I agree with you. I'm being smart now. The cop is a retard (can I use that term?)
I just get the sense that we're the corporal obsessed with finding the boot-polish as the Wermacht charges through the Ardennes at us.
Wow,that was a weird analogy.
Snowball trying to get on the bus after the door is closed.

GREMLIN?
Is that sort of like TROLL light?
Or is it a code word?
