Apparently the NOPD is considering taking the deserters back. How else can the chief explain the numbers unless he minimizes the number of people who deserted.
Why in the world would the N.O. police hire back cops that he himself called "cowards".
I wouldn't feel safe in that town knowing that the cops are chickens. Not that i'll ever go back again anyway. But what about those poor citizens who want to return someday. Do they deserve chicken sh*t cowards to "serve and protect" them?
Surely, there are good law-abiding citizens who would love to have those jobs.
While based on what I've heard so far, I do not have a lot of confidence in the NOPD.
Before jumping to too many conclusions about cowardice, we need to know how many of those missing officers died in the line of duty.
