More fuel on the fire that Blanco was absolutely over her head and out of control in the face of the grave danger facing her citizens. For the White House to even consider this, things must have gotten extremely tense in trying toconvice her to do what was right.
Well, she still is over her head and out of control IMHO.

When they ask Bush what was his biggest mistake he should simply say, letting 2 LA lunatics run the asylum.

I have information that the National Guard was stopped outside Lousiana for eight hours while the White House attorney's negotiated with Blanco's attorneys over who would be in charge.
An eight hour delay. She's been blocking everything.

I agree with you on that. She is absolutely useless. I want to know what has happened to the rest of the State of Louisiana? New Orleans, and the outlying parishes are just a small portion of the state. Why didn't people from Baton Rouge, and the northern parishes come to the rescue? IMHO, Blanco and the mayor of New Orleans should both be sent to live in the Dome.

Blancos indecisive irresponsible inactions compared to the wrath of hurricane Katrina makes the hurricane look like a "cake" walk.

Is there any truth to the rumor from LA folks that she was on meds, and, if so, what were they?
