What Constitution right?

Seizing guns just like jackboots.

Coming to a neighborhood near you anytime Congress gets the urge.

Where are NRA and GOA and Constituional lawyers?

If this were a lefty cause, they'd have their legal shock troops out there.

Has Martial Law been officially declared?

This is just an oppurtunity for one huge gun grab. Everyone is out of town so the powers that be is also taking advantage of the situation, the same as looters. I wonder how many guns will make it to the trash heap and how many will make it into the hands of those who are taking them.

There is no Martial Law abridging civil rights. The police department should be sued in federal court for civil rights violations. The police can not come into your house without a search warrant. It is illegal to take citizens guns. These police and the mayor aren't familiar with the Bill of Rights of this nation.

Whoa! Slow down!

Although I suspect that some people are going to come out of this with much nicer gun collections than they had before.

Look at who said it.

Assistant Chief Riley.

That's city or parish official, not a federal one.

The question is, who gave the order?

In the unlikely event that I'd comply with this nonsense, I'd demand a receipt for each one-- that is if I wasn't Dead Right There (which would be a definite possibility, FMCDH)

My question is "where are the cop Freepers".

They need to come out and support their brave brothers! I mean they mostly say they wouldn't seize someones gun but I bet 1000 dollars 9 of 10 would. Squantos is not in that group!

I wonder which one of our cop freepers is going to call this an outrage??? There seems to be an eerie silence about it!
