Anderson Cooper stupifies Eddie Compass
CNN | 9-09-2005

Did anyone just see the exchange between Anderson Cooper and Eddie Compass? He tried to pin the chief down on the evacuation issue and the chief about blew a circuit breaker.

For that matter police could have driven the busses which makes more sense than sending 40% of them home to areas expected to flood.

They could have dropped their passengers off and driven on to Vegas.

Maybe it was not Accardi that they were talking about. I sure would like to know the truth, this second hand info is very disconcerting. Could you possibly ask around and find out what really happened?

Two questions for anyone: (1) What does FUBAR stand for? (2) Why do they call New Orleans "The Crescent City"?
Thanks!

What makes me think it could be true is the gangs in that city are so depraved, it's not beyond thinking that they would specifically target officers families at their most vulnerable moments.

It really doesn't matter why they didn't use the buses before the hurricane. It matters that they didn't use them and clearly demonstrates the ineptitude of hundreds in that city. You don't have to be a mayor or police chief to hop in a bus, fill it up with people, and drive away. Perhaps the looters could have located the keys to the buses and turned themselves into great Americans.

If Anderson has any guts, he'll venture into the "poor" neighborhoods and ask them some of the tough questions. He could ask why they had energy to loot, but not leave.

When he first started his 360 degree show, I watched a couple times hoping that he'd be good. Unfortunately, he has been weak and more like "scraping edge".

His interview with Landrieu last week was pretty hard-hitting. Shocked a lot of us.

There have been numerous inuendos in the media about the "un-named gay Fox news anchor". He's gay, believe me.

Sorry, but your argument is not the least bit convincing. "Believe me."? To quote an Eighties phrase: "Get Real". I'm assuming you do not have first hand experience and are merely pleased to trash this man's reputation with unfounded rumor and speculation. How would you like it if someone did that to you?

Its not suprising that he is gay. His mother was a whore of the first order. She wrote a book a few years back about all the famous men she had slept with. Sickening. I would have died of embarrasemnt if that was my mother.
