Instead of being family-centered, the group now promotes girl empowerment, with programs that focus heavily on a narcissistic devotion to self,In other words, they've been Oprahfied.

brainwashing at it's finest (or rather, ugliest). Their trick is to catch them early and get them to believe whatever they want. that must be why I've seen so many young girls (12, 13 or so) thinking their lesbians

I was hoping you would see this article.
No credit due to myself, I dropped out of Brownies after one year. That was in 1971.
Although it wasn't as "PC" back then as it is now, we still were able to do some fun things like cook outs, wild flower collections, ect...things related to the outdoors.
(ha, I didn't even know what "PC" meant then, but I had a suspicion of what didn't seem right)...
I knew it was time to go. I did more "outdoor" things with my family and learned more from my dad than anything the Brownies or Girl Scouts could teach in the short, few years left he had on earth with us then.
Very sad to hear they went feminazi.

The national headquarters for the Girls Scouts of America is a brand new huge building in my city. I have wondered for a long time how such a "humble" group could afford such an expensive looking place. Now, I'm convinced that they are being bankrolled by monied leftist groups.

I don't know, but the changes has been explicitly portrayed on the cookie box graphics for many years now. Especially the "narcissistic devotion to self".
I have greatly curtailed my cookie buying, but I still have to have a box or two of those Samoas.

Truth will come out in the end.
Presuming that Lesbians/Gays are born that way which is what the homosexual agendists would want us to believe, sooner or later these brain washed girl scouts, who werent really born that way will come to the realization that they have the same needs and desires that normal, non brainwashed heterosexual women have. The problem is, will they be able to function in society.
I am truly amazed that Democracy survives in America with the likes of the Communists in the Democrat party, the Liberal agendas being taught in the schools, the open borders and the state of terrorism, the IRS and the Federal reserve system sucking money out of the producers, the anti-G@d group trying to remove all references from America while Muslim children are allowed to pray in school, the Girl Scouts, et al

"Opposing the Gospel
No must be the answer to to proselytizing to all who are not Christians into some denomination of Christian faiths." How utterly and blatantly hypocritical! Try this:
'No must ALSO be the answer to - to proselytizing all who are not homosexuals into some form of sexual deviency involving same-sex partners.'
Anybody else catch that?

No more Girl Scout cookies pingVery sad to have to let go of what was once a noble transaction to now what needs to be a serious boycott.
I never even thought of that till now.
Makes you appreciate the tenacity of why the Boy Scouts held so tightly to their traditional values...once you let evil in it spreads like the plague.

I've made a decision to encourage my daughters both of which were Girl Scouts and are now adults to consider volunteering for GS leadership in this area. Perhaps they can filter this trash and stop it from indoctrinating the girls in our area.

What a cultural catastrophe.
Has anyone heard of a group committed to filling the void the Girl Scouts left? I think it's called "Little Flowers" .

Ronald Radosh a fellow traveler of Horowitiz notes in his book "Commies" that she and her husband a radical Black Marxist and communist fellow traveler. She also was on the executive board of the US Peace Council which is the American affiliate of the Soviet-created World Peace Council. She signed a statement accusing the US of a "history of aggression and genocidal practices aganist people of color around the world".Bill Clinton was actually wanting to appoint her was Secretary of Education. But there was a huge behind the scene power struggle to prevent that. God help the US. We need to educate every one we know about these people. I recommed the above book.

Some Girl Scout leaders have become alarmed by the organizations leftward leanings and have decided to do something about it. In 1995, Patti Garibay, a former Girl Scout troop leader, founded the Cincinnati, Ohio-based American Heritage Girls (AHG), which now has troops in 32 states.

Fortunately around here the Girl Scouts still work on outdoor skills, and just plain fun things with the kids. They are not into the feminism part of it, from what I have seen. (Both of my girls were in the program for awhile before moving on....)
I was in the Cub Scouts for a few years, but eventually moved on as well. (I wanted to join the Girl Scouts, but alas, to no avail.)
