Their IQ's are low to non existant... These were probably just a bunch of college students from the 'campus progressive club' or some other similar group... These kids probably believed everyhtign their leftist professors told them in sociology 101 class and they are not wacko activists... People like this need not be taken seriously.. This is the same group of kids that will graduate with a masters in art or sociology and work at starbucks or barnes and nobles for the reat of their lives.... They may even get hired at blockbuster, but thats a long shot!!

I also wear sandals (Chacos) and kayak and believe in protecting the Chattahoochee National Forest and Nantahala National Forest from the onslaught of destruction from Interstate 3. Spending billions of PORK for fifteen minutes of time when we have a hurricane or two or three to clean up after is NOT in the best interests of this Country and its citizens.

Please don't place all of us 'sandal wearers' in the same basket. I'm for conserving what we have and spending money wisely. I'm also in favor of turning on those oil wells in Bush's backyard. I'd like to see the borders closed and immigration tightened. I'd like to have people take an "oath of allegience" to the USofA if they want to live here. Love it or leave it. The little snot-nosed pimply kids who are unhappy here have my permission to leave the Country and find their Utopia. And if they can't find it? Too bad, they're not getting back into the USofA just because they "made a mistake" about socialism and/or communism.

They didn't care what size American flag you brought. The lady cop told me, "I'm sorry. No flags are allowed; of any size." I told her that the website said no signs or banners, and that the American flag was neither; it is the American flag. She answered, "Sorry. You can't take it in."

I got upset, and asked her what building we were standing next to (the Pentagon) and what country we were in.

No response.

The concert at the end of the walk (starring Clint Black - he was fantastic, BTW) was broadcast to our soldiers on the Armed Forces network. I have to wonder if they noticed that the audience had no flags.

This was total PC Bravo Sierra.

I wear sandals too, my husband has Birks. I'm not making fun of sandals, but perhaps having a little fun with the libs choice of footwear. I live in Boulder, cut me some slack. Every other person (lib) here wears Teva's or Crocs and most drive Subaru wagons.

Those boys got a deafening dressing-down by me, to the point that several (news and personal) video cameras spun around and in my face as I gave them the S-eatin' word.

I was already PO'd about having my tiny 4" x 6" flags confiscated, but then to see these pieces of human garbage mocking the anniversary of September 11th and endorsing the murder of our military - well, I had had enough crap for one day and let loose on the group of Leftist Losers.

More likely so they can get past the same guards who turned away the American Flag at this event. Once inside, the reverse the shirt and show what idiots they truly are.

Were all flags confiscated, or just the ones attached to staffs?
