BEIRUT, Sept 16 (Reuters) - A large explosion was heard on the eastern outskirts of Beirut on Friday, witnesses said. It was not clear what caused the blast.Mainly Christian areas east of Beirut have witnessed a series of night time explosions since the assassination in February of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik al-Hariri in a huge car bomb.
