I haven't seen anything else.

The thing that struck me about this story was that she had to leave her room in the middle of the night because her roommate had a boyfriend there.

She would be alive today if things like that weren't accepted.

That was Mrs. SubMareener's immediate reaction. Hope the roommate had a good time.

You may be reading it wrong...the roomie and boyfriend could just have been sitting there, watching TV..and Taylor just decided to give them a little space......most likely it was a ramdom act of violence...forensics on the car will tell a lot..

That struck me too. However, from what is posted of the story here it says "She left her dorm room after she found her roommate with a boyfriend." and maybe she chose to leave the dorm room instead of 'had to'.

Someone said this story has been on all the cable stations but your post here is the first I've heard of it. I'm usually a pessimist when it comes to stories like this but I can hold out some hope here. Having a daughter just a few years older does that sometimes.

"She would be alive today if things like that weren't accepted."

Well, I sympathize with how you feel, but sadly it is not accurate. Remember that gal Drue Sjodin (spelling?), out in the midwest, the pycho who murdered her grabbed her right off the street in broad daylight leaving her job.

As a mom of one I must say: women are at risk all the time. I hate to sound like some feminist hysteric, but it is the truth.
