Watch our weather.....Hova has been upgraded to hurricane status as of this morning; ~800 NM SSE of the Big Island moving at 6 knots. A threat to week 3 of the NFL season.

On the bright side, surf's up on the leeward side.

It seems weird, but since last week my longing to return the Islands has grown considerably. I'm not sure if it's the threat of having to move to Texas or the thought that my kids will have to grow up either on the Gulf of Mexico or the Atlantic Ocean.

I guess once you've been raised on the Pacific Ocean...no other ocean will do.

Guess what foolish thing I did?? I ordered some really awful coffee from The Bad Ass Coffee Company for my Aunt Vesi. She likes that coffee..Yucky! Do you like it? John loves their mugs, but not the coffee. LOL!
