Of course the idiot politicians say smoking rates are down when it is just smoking purchases that are down.But,in fact,sky high cigarette taxes have never been and never will be about getting people to quit.
It's about $$$$.

Smokers are the non PC cash cow for the Commonwealth----I fully expect the tax on cigs to go up again in the near future.
