I'm pretty far north in St. Louis, but if anyone needs to go that far, I have room for two. It's a pretty tiny house but it has the necessities. I have two cats that might not take kindly to another, but I have family here that can help with that. A dog is no problem.

Home avail in Ocean SPrings MS. I was fortunate enough to have a place to move to after we lost everything in Katrina. I have a dog and teenage son staying there. If I'm needed Freepmail me. It's not a great place but it has all of it's walls and a ceiling.

I've got room for a single gal here in Denver, CO. You'd get your very own bed and bathroom. I've got two cats, so animals are AOK with me, but maybe not with them. We can discuss.

Freepmail me if interested!

An excellent idea. Please ask Texas freepers to put their location in their tagline.

We're just north of Austin, only a mile off of I-35, and we can take your non-aggressive dog/s. We have one very submissive spayed female retriever.

Can't take cats due to the toxoplasmosis risk (pregnancy).

We may or may not have room for people-- waiting to hear from my neighbors - they have lots of family in Houston and might need the space we have.

Two spare bedrooms in northern Rhode Island. I know it's far, but it has to be better than some damn shelter.

(...how is a freeper going to do his/her freepin from a shelter? The horror...)

We are 1 hour north of Dallas and have room for 4-5 dogs (we have 2 spare empty pens in the back yard) and a spare bedroom for a couple or small family. We could even take a kitty or 2 and put them in a spare room. Freepmail if you want more info. TMG
