I can't offer any lodging, because I live in the impact zone.
However, I wanted to remind pet owners who can't find any pet-friendly places to go that the Humane Society in the area which you're fleeing to can probably accomodate your pets while you are in the motel, shelter, or whatever.
I may have to drop my own pets off at a shelter north of here, since I am having a hard time finding pet friendly accomodations left.
I know my cats won't enjoy spending the weekend in a shelter, but I'm not going to choose between leaving them to drown, or staying to drown with 'em.
I live in North Austin in a one-BR apartment but it does have a queen sofa sleeper that can be used. No pets or smokers please. You'll need to get along with my parrot but she is usually well-behaved when company visits.
Not much on food/extras and can't be sure we won't lose electricity but flooding is fairly unlikely and it's a three-story brick building so I feel it will hold up unless a tornado hits it.
FReepmail me for phone number and directions. (I am a single male if that matters)
Far away in California, but willing to help anyone who needs a place to stay.

I remember suffering through 2 weeks of August heat and humidity without air conditioning after a hurricane on the Gulf Coast in the early 80s.
Howlin asked me to post this here from this morning's sign-in, but many campers have decided to move out and go further north since the upgrade to a Cat 5, but I'll be here.
Hello all,
I'm in Willis on I-45 which is about 50 miles north of Houston. I am staying here at my newly opened RV park taking in evacuees and keeping our club house open for our monthly campers. Anyone leaving Houston in an RV, we are only 1/2 mi. off interstate and our website is www.omegafarmsrv.com and we still have spaces available.
Be safe everyone and I am hoping and praying that Rita diminishes and goes in at the least populated area of the coastline.
Got room for 6 plus pets if you need that, too.
Our house is in Allen, Tx, just northeast of Dallas. FReepmail me if you need a place to stay dry for a spell.
Do you still have the hotel rooms?
Will be hunkering down with either my dad, eastforker, or my boyfriend. Hell, he lives in the Galleria area, so he may be hunkering down at eastie's place with me, at my (not so subtle) insistence.
Doing last minute stuff here, pulling all my important papers, sentimental items, and valuables.
Prayers for those in the area, and those with loved ones in the area.
***ALSO***
My employer, Outback Steakhouse will be very involved with helping out first responders with food, and basically wherever and however we can. My store sent a team to Gulfport (I went with the first wave to stage everything and get things rolling) the day after Katrina, and we did a lot of good. If I am able, I have every intention of helping wherever we're needed. FReepmail me if interested in volunteering, and I'll be in touch.
I live near Denton but I was born and raised in Fort Worth.
We live on a beautiful lake and the quarters can be rather private. There would be a bedroom, sunroom, pool room and private bath. There is also a view of the lake. We're in Iowa.
Anyone wishing to take this opportunity to go up to the NorthEast and explore the fall colors during this can contact me. --- I'm in mid-NYState.
North Central Florida
Room available for a small family - crib available.
Room for some livestock (horses, cattle, goats, etc.)
Also room for a camper with sewer/water/electric.
