Bette Midler to GOP: Go F&*% Yourself - Limbaugh transcript in full.

Rush To Liberals: Speak Your Mind !
MIDLER: I could stand up here and talk for hours (cheering) about ineptitude, stupidity (louder cheering), blame, in-e-qual-i-ty, global warming (cheering), the dangerous destruction of the wetlands. But if I did, what will all those other people have to talk about? I'm telling you these are -- these are not just dangerous times, these are -- these times are disastrous. We're surrounded by disasters! The war, the hurricane, the Fox News. (cheering) It just goes on and on. I get so depressed!

MIDLER: A terrible thing happened to me. Today I got a letter from the Republican Party thanking me (boos) thanking me, thanking me for supporting this administration's policies. I did what any self-respecting American of integrity and class would do, I wrote "Go [bleep] yourself!" (wild cheering) I sent it back! Postage due!

MIDLER: I would never actually pick on George Bush, because, you know, he's a big fan of mine. He came to see me in the seventies, came to a show of mine in the seventies. A coke dealer of his, uh, got him some tickets, and... (cheers) Tonight we are here to be together, to help rebuild the Gulf coast, to help -- help rebuild the soul of America, the soul of America, New Orleans, New Orleans. We have to find a way to start listening to each other, to nature, and to the rest of the world, because who wants to live with so much danger.

Let American hear what the Liberals have to say ! Keep talking.

I did like Midler's song "From a Distance

That is exactly where I want her to sing - from a distance.

Yeah. My mother is one. If she wanted to, she could look about 45, maybe younger(she is 70).

My mother is one of those too, she is 67. My grandmother looks much younger than she did when she was in her early 80's. At 85, she did get a series of strokes that eventually caused her death but up until the last few months of her life, she looked much younger. My other grandmother is living, she turned 90 in March. When we went to Mountaineer in West Virgina, a casino, she moves so fast, I can't keep up with her. B-) She lives with my aunt and there are times they don't treat her well and they are lazy. Boy I have stories to tell. Well, they raked the leaves in the fall but never took the bags to the curb to be picked up. She got upset and at 90, she picked up the heavy watersoaked bags and carried each one 50 feet to the curb and there were like 20 of them.

As for Bette.. take a good look at her.. her face looks about like that of a squirrel that has loaded his cheeks up with enough nuts for the whole winter

She could work on her hair too, if she sank anymore, she could make a freight train take a dirt road.

The F word....

When I grew up, girls who said that word usually did that word. With anybody.

I had wanted to tune in this pay per view because I figured, hey - good music and helping the victims. Then I realized that I would probably pay $20 to hear my political party, my values and my President bashed, so I cancelled my purchase.

I wonder how many people stayed away from this on that basis alone? Certainly with Jimmy Buffett performing, you'd think the Parrotheads would have subscribed in droves. Does anyone know how much it took in?

Why did those words automatically conjure
in my mind the phrase " A View to a Kill"?

Who is this person? Is that her picture? Poor thing. Has she contributed money to the victims of Katrina? Or is she like a lot of entertainer all mouth. Entertainers contribute nothing to society except entertainment which we all can live without as it is not necessary for existence.

RE: This isn't wacky. It's mean.

I have been thinking about this too.

Jealousy is one reason that makes sense.

Also Pres.Bush and America are the alpha dog, and after 9/11 and Iraq and other recent tribulations, the beta dogs smell blood and are piling on.

This is about power.

Me? I am sticking with the big dog, who is for the most part a good and faithful companion unlike all the ankle biters around him.

I think liberalism often manifests as projection on others.

Folks who externalize their own failings.

Midler?

yea...she was nice to Carson and funny in DAOIBV, but this outburst in her political vitriol should surprise no one.

My favorite Bette story is the one about Geraldo and his buddies plying her with Quaaludes and trying to get her into an orgy....and she resisted...so the legend goes.

They are all nuts out there...they get used to folks deferring to them like they are special....
