I haven't heard from her since, so I doubt she's checked it. I'm reluctant to call her at work because they are very busy with all the patients that have been transferred in from the coastal hospitals. If she calls me, I'll ask her to check and call again.
She had less than a half tank of gas to start with. Mr. Hurricane Watcher (me) filled up the day Rita was only a tropical depression and I've been ragging her to fill up ever since. She didn't, and it really hasn't been possible for the last couple of days.
In one sense, it doesn't matter. If her tank has been siphoned, she's empty now regardless.
