The Money that Makes the News Machine Function
New York Slimes (The Pesistence of the News and Cocktail Hour) Sutart Elliot

If you are as sick as I am of the intentionally-biased, Hate-America-First network news, you should know that the only way you will ever make an impact on their slanted coverage is to hit them economically...tell the people who pay their salaries that you are sick and tired of networks who put their patriotism on the back burner to suck up to liberals in this country who are undermining everything we stand for. Write the top advertisers on ABC, CBS, and NBC from January to May: Bayer (10 million dollars), Merck (9 million), Johnson and Johnson (over 10 million), Pfizer (over 7 million), Novartis (5.3 million), and Hyundai (over 3 million). These are the real culprits in helping the liberal establishment spew their anti-Americanism. Tell them you will never buy an aspirin or a car as long as they support such bias on OUR airwaves.

U.S. News and World Report is biased as hell.

News from FreeRepublic/Fox/Forbes/Wired

Opposition research - MSM.

Intel from local TV news.

It's better than time and newsweek though isn't it?

Considering the demos those advertisers are looking for, I think we can just wait.

It would take thousands of us to have any impact on the advertisers. I think it would be effective, but not enough people are willing to do anything other than complain.

Now that is a defeatist attitude if I've ever seen one. Have you never been told that every time they receive a negative letter it is assumed that the views of 10,000 people were just represented?

You're all right ladyinred.

Thousands, millions or one. I divested myself of newspapers, MSM TV, and news magazines long ago. I'm a better person for it. Doing the right thing by our country and soldiers isn't dependant on who else is doing it. Right is right even if you're the only one.
