The media will blame the bus deaths on Bush. If Houston did not evacuate, they'd still be alive.

No, the media will say: "If Houston was not such a toxic wasteland created by George W. Bush and Halliburton, the old people would not have had breathing problems which required oxygen tanks that exploded resulting in their deaths."

"FEMA Director was asked many questions by many reporters who are STUCK ON STUPID."

The media is 'STUPID' by definition. In a game called "STUPID" instead of "TAG-YOUR-IT", the MSM would be the BASE.

If you go to Google News and do a search on 'stuck on stupid', you can find many comments by liberals who are angry that General Honore is getting away with bashing reporters.

It is hysterical.

"...reporters who are STUCK ON STUPID."

What difference did it make that some FEMA personnel stayed in Houston instead of running away in NOLA. ???????????????

Why does the press NOT get it that FEMA was NOT ALLOWED in NOLA?

I would just love to slap the poop out of these hateful, stupid, agenda driven, commie SOB's!

Wolf Blitzer and Ted Kopple are about to have a stroke over the handling of RITA. The MSM "line" will be -- Texas took lessions from LA. That is why RITA was handled so well...

"Isn't it amazing? I guess they got in all that practice in just the last week or so too."

Texas chose to get competent while Louisiana chose to get "stuck on stupid"!

Notable comparison of Republican to Democrap.

Actually, it was the media demanding the removal of the incompetent FEMA director that made all the difference. The deserve a pat on the back!

It’s amazing what proper planning and decisive leadership can do in the face of a Natural Disaster. The execution phase of the evacuation needs work, but considering how many people you’re trying to move with limited routes open for this event it could have been a lot worse. The MSM must be so disappointed not to have a high body count. I know how they love human suffering and misery.

The media is complaining that there were massive backups on the roads out of Houston. Blaming the government for not doing a better job. What they understand but will not admit is that when you are trying to put 50# of salt in a 5# bag, it is going to overflow no matter who is holding the shovel.

The media is complaining that there were massive backups on the roads out of Houston.

On the other hand there were massive backups in the toilets at the Superdome because people were not able to get out of NO in time.

Seriously, there were many unforseen reasons why there were backups. First and foremost was because the Houston emergency plan considered that only those people in the flood prone areas would evacuate (about 1.5 million). As it turned out, people were scared after Katrina and about 2.5 million left -- almost twice as many. But despite that, they all got out in about 72 hours.

If Fox doesn't stop showing that industrial canal levee that has been overflowing, I am going to stop watching their station.

The 9th Ward was destroyed 3 weeks ago; a little more water is not going to change things.

Enuf is enuf.

I listened to one Texas official who said that city, state and federal levels were working together. He strongly implied a difference with LA.

Another officer said that he had stayed on duty even though he had send his family out. He said he did not want to do what some NOPD officers did.

The mayor of one of the cities said that there had been some looting, but the looters should be certain that they would be prosecuted, unlike LA.

The Texans, rightly so, were very proud of their reaction in contrast to NO.

Which Alphabet MSM Affiliate did you hear this stuff on? The only time I would expect to hear that kind of truthful reporting is on FOX NEWS.
