Sorry, but I just can't resist wallowing in the images from today's Support The Terrorists rally:
Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan, center, blows a kiss as she is surrounded by supporters and her private security detail during an anti-war protest march, Saturday, Sept. 24, 2005, in Washington.
Deb Harley (C) cheers as Cindy Sheehan speaks to a crowd at the 'End the War in Iraq, Bring the Troops Home Now' and 'Justice for the Hurricane Survivors' rally and concert in Washington, September 24, 2005.
Cindy Sheehan (L) of Vacaville, California greets the crowd with Reverend Jesse Jackson at the End the War in Iraq, Bring the Troops Home Now and Justice for the Hurricane Survivors anti-war march, rally and concert, in Washington D.C. September 24, 2005.
I Am SOMEBODY!
Anti-war protester Cindy Sheehan (centre R) of Vacaville, California, and Reverend Jesse Jackson take part in a protest march to end the war in Iraq, in Washington, September 24, 2005.
Anti-war protester Cindy Sheehan (2nd L) of Vacaville, California, smiles at supporters as she takes part in an anti-war protest march with the Rev. Jesse Jackson (L), her sister Dede Myers (3rd L) and U.S. folk singer Joan Baez (4th L, blue shirt) through the streets of Washington, September 24, 2005.
Cindy's so happy she forgot to cry.
I wonder if Mother Sheehan and the Reverend Jackson compared notes on how to scam people out of money. Maybe Cindy could teach the master a thing or two.
I don't think even Jesse has thought to use hurricanes as a way to raise money for himself yet.
It's one of my favorite pieces. NOT Sheehan, the music. Eh, you knew that.
Where are the Hollywood Kook Lefts? I thought Jane Fonda was going to show her tightened face.
Did either of you watch that????
BTW...doesn't Jesse look totally disgusting wearing shirt that show his graying chest hairs?? ewwwwwwwww
No, two horses of very different color.
In fact, as you know, Mussorgsky's first name was "Modest."
Terrific photograhic contrasts....thanks
I seriesly think SHE is interested in more than an photo-op...
She must be really lonely...because she also was holding hands with a nitwit in a slip!!
That yellow t-shirt is something else! Am I the only one who recognizes the upside-down broken cross symbol of the hippie era? To me that upside-down broken cross says it all. This crowd is made up of pagan, old hippies.
Always known in our family, with affection, as Muzzie.
I've been to about 40 or 50 NASCAR races and I agree with your estimate, that photo shows no more than about 15,000 people if that many.
There is no way that is even close to 100,000 people, that's a laugh the commie rats have been working on this protest since President Bush's re-election..............
Being stuck on stupid is an minimal entry requirement for membership in the Sheehad crowd.
ewwww, and beyond. Yes, I did watch some of it. I heard the United States called every evil thing possible. Of course, I fell for it :)
LinkTV isn't big enough for them.
She is, without a doubt, the most disgusting excuse for a mother I have ever seen! Blowing kisses like some dang celebrity, and then that stupid grin while hugging another poor excuse for a human being is the most absurd thing I've witnessed lately?!! I think most of this group are Socialists, Communists, and misfits.
LOL
I was channel surfing earlier today and saw Jessica Lange on CSPAN, so filled with vitriol and hatred for President Bush. She looked absolutely awful!
My accountant who lives in a very affluent neighborhood, has a a neighbor next door.
This woman is divorced from a prominent surgeon and lives in a 6000+ sq ft home with pool and carriage house, with her 14 year old daughter. She has an Escalade, a Mercedes 500, and an old wrecked nova with protest stickers all over it in her garage. On weekends she packs up the nova and her daughter, and in her best protest (i am poor) garb drives to any left wing protest around. If it is too far to drive she tosses the 14 year old off on the neighbors and takes a plane.
This woman is called anytime there is something to protest.....and she gets paid to go! She protests with PETA, yet has several mink coats.
My accountant said she gets paid pretty well to be there too.
Why am I not surprised?
Yes, as in, What's that leech doin' on my back? Somebody -- ANYBODY - fix this thing!
