Pictures From An Exhibitionist -- Cindy Sheehan
Sweetness & Light ^ | September 22, 2005 | N/A

Posted on 09/24/2005 2:13:38 PM PDT by Sam Hill

Sorry, but I just can't resist wallowing in the images from today's Support The Terrorists rally:

Photo

Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan, center, blows a kiss as she is surrounded by supporters and her private security detail during an anti-war protest march, Saturday, Sept. 24, 2005, in Washington.

Photo

Deb Harley (C) cheers as Cindy Sheehan speaks to a crowd at the 'End the War in Iraq, Bring the Troops Home Now' and 'Justice for the Hurricane Survivors' rally and concert in Washington, September 24, 2005.

Cindy Sheehan (L) of Vacaville, California greets the crowd with Reverend Jesse Jackson at the End the War in Iraq, Bring the Troops Home Now and Justice for the Hurricane Survivors anti-war march, rally and concert, in Washington D.C. September 24, 2005.

I Am SOMEBODY!

Anti-war protester Cindy Sheehan (centre R) of Vacaville, California, and Reverend Jesse Jackson take part in a protest march to end the war in Iraq, in Washington, September 24, 2005.

Photo

Anti-war protester Cindy Sheehan (2nd L) of Vacaville, California, smiles at supporters as she takes part in an anti-war protest march with the Rev. Jesse Jackson (L), her sister Dede Myers (3rd L) and U.S. folk singer Joan Baez (4th L, blue shirt) through the streets of Washington, September 24, 2005.

Cindy's so happy she forgot to cry.

I wonder if Mother Sheehan and the Reverend Jackson compared notes on how to scam people out of money. Maybe Cindy could teach the master a thing or two.

I don't think even Jesse has thought to use hurricanes as a way to raise money for himself yet.

Check out the post. Wasn't Mr. Jessie Jackson part of the gun running deal with the VVAW into a black neighborhood during the anti-war movement days?

I'll have to check my posts about that too.

A large rally of anti-war demonstrators gathers on the Ellipse near the White House (top) as seen from the top of the Washington Monument in Washington D.C. September 24, 2005. Tens of thousands of protesters gathered in the nation's capital in support of anti-war protestor Cindy Sheehan, who lost a son serving in the U.S. armed forces in Iraq, and demonstrated for the withdrawal of U.S. troops and an end to the war in Iraq. I met my Vietnamese neighbors last week. They had a barbecue with Vietnamese friends from all over the county. Most of them are former South Vietnamese, some are the kids of soldiers who fought alongside the Americans. At first most were reluctant to tell their "stories" (not knowing where I was coming from.) Once they opened up though, it was something else.

Cindy should come talk to them about her ideas for unilateral withdrawal, and at the same time listen to their horror stories from the last time people wearing shirts like these got their way.

I heard some of their nonsense on NPR today. They were going on and on about how our country is killing innocent civilians.

Are they cuckoo? Since the terrorists insurrection started we have been protecting innocent civilians in Iraq. They don't make a lick of sense!

"Bring the Troops Home Now and Justice for the Hurricane Survivors"???
No matter what the media will try to claim, this whole march wasn't anti-war. It was a Leftist coalition rally and the numbers are a moonbat count--not a representation of Americans against the war.

The Rev appears to be a bit down. One wonders why. After all, he's always been the first to express such glee when in the midst of Stalinists, fruitcakes, fellow travellers.

Perhaps he needs a bit of Zoloft to take the edge off, too.

From the AP via Yahoo news:
Police Chief Charles H. Ramsey, noting that organizers had hoped to draw 100,000 people, said, "I think they probably hit that."

Yeah, they hit that, using million man math maybe. Juding from that ariel shot, I'd say there were less than 5,000 there.
