Pictures From An Exhibitionist -- Cindy Sheehan
Sweetness & Light ^ | September 22, 2005 | N/A

Sorry, but I just can't resist wallowing in the images from today's Support The Terrorists rally:

Photo

Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan, center, blows a kiss as she is surrounded by supporters and her private security detail during an anti-war protest march, Saturday, Sept. 24, 2005, in Washington.

Deb Harley (C) cheers as Cindy Sheehan speaks to a crowd at the 'End the War in Iraq, Bring the Troops Home Now' and 'Justice for the Hurricane Survivors' rally and concert in Washington, September 24, 2005.

Cindy Sheehan (L) of Vacaville, California greets the crowd with Reverend Jesse Jackson at the End the War in Iraq, Bring the Troops Home Now and Justice for the Hurricane Survivors anti-war march, rally and concert, in Washington D.C. September 24, 2005.

I Am SOMEBODY!

Anti-war protester Cindy Sheehan (2nd L) of Vacaville, California, smiles at supporters as she takes part in an anti-war protest march with the Rev. Jesse Jackson (L), her sister Dede Myers (3rd L) and U.S. folk singer Joan Baez (4th L, blue shirt) through the streets of Washington, September 24, 2005.

Cindy's so happy she forgot to cry.

I wonder if Mother Sheehan and the Reverend Jackson compared notes on how to scam people out of money. Maybe Cindy could teach the master a thing or two.

I don't think even Jesse has thought to use hurricanes as a way to raise money for himself yet.

The Rev appears to be a bit down. One wonders why. After all, he's always been the first to express such glee when in the midst of Stalinists, fruitcakes, fellow travellers.

Perhaps he needs a bit of Zoloft to take the edge off, too.

I can't decide if she looks more like Charles or Camilla in this picture. BTW, where's Camilla these days? She told Jawls she didn't want to marry him way back when because of all the public duties she'd have to attend.

From the AP via Yahoo news:
Police Chief Charles H. Ramsey, noting that organizers had hoped to draw 100,000 people, said, "I think they probably hit that."

Yeah, they hit that, using million man math maybe. Juding from that ariel shot, I'd say there were less than 5,000 there.

..... Tens of thousands of protesters gathered in the nation's capital in support of anti-war protestor Cindy Sheehan, who lost a son serving in the U.S. armed forces in Iraq, and demonstrated for the withdrawal of U.S. troops and an end to the war in Iraq. REUTERS/Jim Bourg

hmmmm....
I don't claim to be any great estimator of crowd numbers ...BUT..."Tens of thousands"?????

Come on.

"...Hillary’s decision comes after Sheehan told the press she was “so frustrated” with the Democratic all-star for not endorsing immediate, unilateral withdrawal from Iraq.

At a rally on Sunday, Sheehan reassured her supporters Hillary is “waiting for the best political moment to say” she favors the pullout, warning Hillary in no uncertain terms: “You say it, or you’re losing your job.”

Sheehan’s fiery rhetoric represents a new tactic: targeting prominent Democrats for defeat if they do not parrot her solution to Iraq. “It’s time for them to step up and be the opposition party,” Sheehan said. Learning the lessons of Vietnam, Sheehan forecasts, “This war is not going to end unless the Democrats are on board with us...”

Humm... Momma Shehadi and her Haloperidol. It's all so very *relaxing*, isn't it?

And the Right Rev looks like he thinks the CIA has got Momma Shehadi under mind control.

Exclusive photo of Cindy whining/lying/screaming. Or is it Jesse? Or maybe I photographed the wrong end?

That's remarkable, Former ACLU Member.

On the end you photographed, very few of us have got teeth.
