Most people I've seen who do this on a whim, fire TOO quickly, and panic. As a result, they either shoot into the ground, shoot low on the target (between belly button and knees) or miss altogether. Even inside of 25 feet!
Under "introduced" stress hit rates AND accuracy goes way down.
It's a very calm, and practiced individual who can "double tap" effectively.
Besides this, a "confirmed kill" only requires one shot, and of course your "spotter". :-)
