With over 24 million in the first week, this boycott idea is sure working...

I don't plan on seeing the movie, but that's only because I think Jodie Foster can't act her way out of a wet paper bag, not because of any union boycott.

Give me a break. Are all professions supposed to be protected classes in fiction? All those 'The Butler Did It' locked room mysteries should have had the Domestic Servant industry up in arms as well.

There are so few films out there worth seeing (stuff that I might like) that I was looking forward to seeing this when it comes out on 'on demand'. Looked exciting and with a mystery to it.
The actions of the flight attendants in the movie won't influence me as to my opinions of them. My reactions to, or my feelings of them, come from real life situations --- not from a fictional movie. I can separate the two.

As a mother, I can't watch movies that harm/scare children. There's enough of that crap in the news.

A couple of weeks ago I actually saw the first young, pretty, charming flight attendant I had seen on a major US airline in years.
Problem was - she was almost completely insane, and treated the passengers like her kindergarten class. ;)

Somebody please send John Hinckley her home address. Also remind him that she is dating Ted Kennedy.

I agree with the flight attendants union - BOYCOTT this movie. It SUCKS. Hollywood treats Arab terrorists with kid gloves and makes flight attendants AND air marshals out to be the bad guys. That's a low blow across the solar plexus even by the politically correct standards of Tinseltown films.

"Other flight attendants are shown treating passengers rudely and being unsympathetic...."
Well, I don't know, the last flight I was on they were also surly, really old, way to much makeup and just plain unfriendly. So the movie seems accurate to me.

I liked the movie. The flight attendants were all nasty fashion_model_wannabes and took turns making faces that an idiot would make. One of them had the biggest (collagen injections) lips, it was hilarious

This is an outrage.
Al Hollywood is doing is trying to not blame Young Muslim Men.
People should go to jail for this.

I have no plans to see this, but it sounds like flight attendants were portrayed pretty accurately.

I boycotted JF after seeing the trailer for "Panic Room".
All I could think of was, "sheesh, get a gun."
More liberal claptrap.

a flight attendant colludes with an air marshal as part of a plot to extort a ransom from the airlineWhat an absolutely despicable premise for a "plot".
