Somehow I doubt he'll be attending any Marine Corps League functions in the future...if he wants to remain breathing.

I will not condemn immediately, but this does not strike me as a particularly wise or moral decision, nor one that benefits the West.

I know I should find some outrage, but come on, how can they be any worse than the current MSM. They too are perfectly content to "lie to the world" BAH!

he's walking on thin ice. If he ever had a clearance he is bound for life, and it's hard to imagine how he can work in that snake pit legitimately.

While still with the Marines in 2003, Rushing was sent to a media operations center in Qatar set up by the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) for the war in Iraq. He was made liaison to Al-Jazeera, and established a relationship with some of the networks journalists.
But he created a stir when he appeared in a movie by an Egyptian filmmaker, "Control Room, about Al-Jazeeras coverage of the war, and was seen by some as sympathetic to the Arab-language network.
The American Left adored this film.

"I know I should find some outrage, but..." But can't you at least be outraged that he beat out Scot Ritter - after Ritter had already done so much for the enemy!

He would have been de-briefed when he no longer had a need to know. As long as he doesn't talk about anything classified, shouldn't be a problem...besides, he may be a plant.
