Republican Party Census - 2005 Articles / Elections Sep 29, 2005 - 03:31 PM |
Every year, the political parties of the United States send out questionnaires to their constituents to "Take the Pulse" of their respective party. These are not sent to ALL members of the party because the costs would be prohibitive, so they send out only enough to achieve a statistical sampling of America. Here is the Republican Party Census Document for 2005 - The link to our "Voting Booth" is at the end of the questionnaire. VOTE! DOMESTIC & INTERNATIONAL SECURITY 1. Do you support President Bush's initiatives to promote the safety and security of all Americans? 2. Do you support the use of air strikes against any country that offers safe harbor or aid to individuals or organizations committed to further attacks on America? 3.Do you continue to support increasing the amount of security at airports, train stations, and all government buildings including monuments and museums? ECONOMIC ISSUES 1. Should the Inheritance or "Death Tax" be permanently repealed? 2. Do you support President Bush's pro-growth policies to create more jobs and improve the economy? 3. Do you think Congress should focus on cutting the federal budget by reducing wasteful government spending? EDUCATION ISSUES 1. Do you support President Bush's plan to make our schools more accountable to parents and to restore local control of education? 2. Should students, teachers, principals, and administrators be held to higher standards? 3. Do you agree that teaching our children to read and increasing literacy rates should be a national priority? SOCIAL ISSUES 1. Do you support President Bush's initiative to allow private religious and charitable groups to do more to help those in need? 2. Do you support the law, passed by Republican Congress and signed by President Bush, that bans partial birth abortion? 3. Do you support the President's efforts to save Social Security for future generations? 4. Do you think Congress should pass legislation on the Federal Marriage Act? DEFENSE ISSUES 1. Do you think U.S. troops should have to serve under United Nations' commanders? 2. Do you agree that our top military priority should be fighting terrorists? 3. Should the U.S. continue work on building a defense shield against nuclear missile attack? |

Is this the one where they ask you for money..and then completely disregard your answers and do nothing to push your agenda?
Where are the questions about our opinion on....
1. Open borders and runaway illegal immigration.
2. The size of government.
3. Massive government spending.
4. The effort to promote internationalism.
5. Confiscatory taxation.
Did Karl Rove write this survey??
The "Official" mailed "Census" did end with a "Gift" request! But that is normal for any political mailings.
My Unofficial Poll does NOT ask for money --- Maybe I should add the DONATE HERE button on that site??
:>)
Apparently they don't want no steenking border control questions.
Yes, it's that one. Last time I got one I filled in the funds request with "close the borders, reduce the size of government and I'll think about a donation."
How about:
Do you think Bush should ever use his veto power?
or maybe
Do you think the federal gvt should assume responsibility for all disasters, public or private, to ever happen on our soil again - at your expense?
"Where are the questions about our opinion on.... "
Write them up and I'll add them to my "Unofficial" Poll list! Keep the questions worded for a multiple Choice type response - only one answer is accepted.
I can't type worth a damned so make sure your spelling is good 'cause I'll just copy/paste. It took me a couple hours to get that questionnaire on line.
you can freep mail them to me here.
Yeah.
I also noticed no question on the Second Amendment or right ot keep and bear arms.
I think you're right.
Karl Rove must have written it - or Alberto Gonzalez.
I also saw nothing about the death sentence, affirmative action, checking out little old Swedish-American ladies at airport instead of mid-eastern males between 21 and 40 who are most of the bomber types.
Somebody should get the National Republican PArty back on the right social issues track.
Yeah my thoughts are you either understand what it is we want at this point or lets shut her down.
