Go Penguins!!!! Our Canadian cousins say that Crosby is indeed the real deal, that is one area where I will default to their knowledge.
I hope OLN doesn't muck up the coverage like they did the outdoor motocross season this summer.

He's NOT on the roster! I beleive he retired and is playing for the team he owns in Sweden I think. Something like that. Bloody same, I love watching him and Joe play!

A friend of mine told me about Crosby. He said when Sid was 16 he was skating circles around the 18 year olds in Juniors.
Also said the kid has a sense of where the puck is going next, similar to Gretzky, and soft hands like Mario.
I can't wait!

The youngsters like it, and they are the next generation of hockey fan.

I hope your Penguano's enjoy Crosby.
But cross state we have the real TEAM deal with the Flyers! Last night the 2005 AHL Calder Cup champ Philly Phantoms in Flyers uniforms with the new Goon defence of Derian Hacher and Mike Rathje went toe to toe with the Jersey Devils! I can't wait to see Forseberg and Primeau join this bunch.

I've had a wait-and-see attitude about Crosby, based on the way players like Eric Lindros never really lived up to their hype.
A lot of hockey scouts thought Lindros was NHL-ready by the time he was 15 years old (he was about 6-3, 215 pounds back then).
