Outdoor Life Network. One of the rule changes was that next year all the games will be played on frozen ponds and between periods they will have ice-fishing contests.
Oh that's gonna be good. It's going to make the 2nd and 3rd periods interesting. "A short break while we dislodge Tuomo Rutuu's left leg from the ice fishing hole..." ;-)
need...coffee......
Too many " big hits" taken-eh! lol, my bad
OH! I have been to those games and other farm teams but not to the big show! Closest team is the Canuks in B.C. That is an 9 hour drive at best from here. But I DO have family in BC.... Hmmn... but the Canuks though... Nah, I will wait till I can get to Denver. That would be SOOOOOOOOO Sweet!
As they say up here the theme music to Hockey Night in Canada is the second national anthem.
Playing hockey without a helmet, huh?
Guess I will not be watching hockey this year anymore than last. My hubby says we do not have OLN on our cable. Thanks for telling me what it is. No wonder I never heard of it.
Yea! Ain't it great???!!! Donald Brashear and Kristov Oliwa hads a doozy of a fight last night!
I will say this about Pittsburgh, You got a class act in Mario Lemieux and you have my favorite Flyers vets Mark Recchi and John LeClair. I was sad to see them go.
Last I heard they were putting Crosby on the same line as LeClair and Recchi!
Leave me "ON" the list, please........
LET'S GO F L Y E R S !!!
Yay, hockey ping!!
Go Canucks!
To H with the Avs! ;^)
Forsberg plays for the Flyers now. The Avs are in serious trouble after losing him and Adam Foote, and now Hejduk going down with a knee injury.
It's going to be a tough October and November for them I suspect.
Both the Avs and Canucks are going to be behind my Sharks at the end of the season. Again. heh heh.
We may not have the flashy big name players, but we are fast, young and play as a team.
Um...there are also some games on NBC.
Um...I'm a Penguins fan so I'll watch the first one on NBC. If they are anywhere near the playoffs next spring, I will probably get to see some more. I would not expect NBC's coverage to be any different than other MSM coverage has been in the past, i.e. close to nil.
Do you have a local Fox Sports affiliate? Something like "Fox Sports Pittsburgh"? I know the local one here carries all the Sharks games and is part of basic cable. The announcers are usually contracted by the team so they are generally 'homers' but also have a lot more info about the team than a national tv host.
I'm a hockey nut so I will probably get the Center Ice package so I can watch any NHL game that is televised.
