Lake George water temp is still pretty warm. I would say 66 - 68. Also warm in the area the boat launched from on its one hour cruise. Half hour up and then back. You really dont go far. You basically see a few nice houses and the water front motels.

66 to 68 degree water is far from warm. Try a little time in such tempertures. You'll expire far quicker than you imagine.

66-68F will set in hypothermia pretty quickly, you would be surprised, it doesn't take freezing water to do it, just cold water, and water around even room temp will kill you.
