Barry To Plead Guilty For Failing To File Tax Returns
D.C. Councilman Hasn't Filed Tax Return Since 1998, Sources Say

WASHINGTON -- Ward 8 Councilman Marion Barry is in legal trouble for not filing federal or D.C. income tax returns since 1998, News4's Tom Sherwood reports.
Barry is completing the first year of his new term on the D.C. Council and has been mentioned as a potential candidate for council chair next year.
But now, sources tell News4 that Barry will plead guilty to a misdemeanor offense for failing to pay federal income taxes for seven years. Details are being worked out with U.S. Attorney Kenneth Wainstein and other federal authorities.
Sources said the agreement does not require any jail time and does not involve any fines but it does require Barry to get his records in order and filings up to date.
The plea agreement must still be approved by a federal court judge in a hearing that may come as early as this week.
All officials involved with the case declined comment to News4.

Is there a problem here? Marion Barry, African American Democrat. Nope no problem here. Only a racist would have a problem with Mr Barry not filing his income tax returns. In fact it just might be racist to write an article about Marion Barry not filing his income taxes returns. It for sure is racist to post on an ultra right wing forum that Marion Barry did not file his income tax returns for seven (7) years.
I am sure the IRSitch set him up, then leaked this to the press. :0
